We started with raw oysters and crab cakes, both super fresh and flavorful. For our entrées, we had the 8oz steak (cooked perfectly), along with gnocchi, lobster mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli — every dish was delicious, but the lobster mash was definitely the star.
We ended the night with the warm butter cake, which was absolutely heavenly — rich, buttery, and the perfect way to finish the meal.
Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Huge thanks to Tania, Alejandro, and Xianna for making our night so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!
My wife ordered vegetarian, and she was not treated with the same level of respect or attentiveness when asking about vegetarian options. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable, especially for a restaurant of this caliber.
Additionally, our waiter, Aladin, charged me for truffle butter on my steak that I did not order. I only noticed it afterward, and it ultimately came out of his tip. I want to be very clear for future guests: carefully review your bill if you are served by him, as he may add items you didn’t request.
Overall, the food lived up to expectations, but the service was questionable and inconsistent. For a premium dining experience, attention to detail, transparency, and respect for all guests, especially those with dietary preferences, should be a given. We are frequent Mastros diners so this was an unfortunate experience.

A huge thank you to Chef Brendy for making the night extra special. His talent and passion for cooking made our anniversary dinner unforgettable. We are so grateful and can’t wait to come back!
When the main dish arrived too quickly, my partner politely mentioned it to the server. We were told the steak would be re-fired and would take about 20 minutes. However, when it came back, it was still slightly lukewarm, which made us feel it may not have been properly re-prepared. We are unsure what the 20-minute wait was for.
The server did offer dessert as an apology, which we appreciated. However, when we left, the server did not acknowledge us or say goodbye, even though we walked right past him.
We had called ahead to confirm the dress code and dressed accordingly from the restaurant. My partner wore a long coat, yet there was no coat check service. Meanwhile, other guests were wearing white T-shirts and hoodies. The restaurant has both second and third floors, and we were seated on the third floor, while the second floor seemed to have a much nicer atmosphere. We were disappointed by that as well.
Overall, the service and experience did not reflect the level we expected from a restaurant at this price point.
We ended the night with the warm butter cake, and wow — the perfect sweet finish. Everything, from the food to the overall vibe, felt thoughtful and elevated. Shoutout to the singer who performed the Adele song I requested — such a special touch. Mo was an amazing server, and we also had the pleasure of meeting Dante, who was incredibly polite and easygoing.
Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!
