I came to Màstra yesterday for my first time and the food and service was incredible. My family and I had the best time chatting and eating good food while trying each others meals. Don’t skip the Bruschetta – those tomatoes and seasonings are so fresh and delicious. The Berry Panna Cotta?!?! I’m still thinking about it. And I had the Sugo di Noci for my meal which was SO yummy & decadent. I’ve been telling everyone how amazing Màstra is. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been here before solely for the pesto lasagna and my gooooossshhh, it’s amazing every time !!! They are always extremely busy but it never impacts their service and I think that says a lot. Food is made from scratch, fresh, and delicious. They also accommodated us coming from an hour away and got us in as fast as possible.

The restaurant itself is super small but they are shortly moving to a larger building which will hopefully accommodate more people and create less of a wait time = more opportunity to go and eat pesto lasagna !

I was actually quite disappointed in this place. I’ve heard so many good things about it so I went by myself to eat. It’s a nice restaurant and clean and well thought out for the small space. The first thing I noticed that was off were the paper napkins at a place that charges nice napkin prices. The servers were nice but I had to ask a couple times for my drink. When a lady came back with a huge grin on her face asking how I was doing, I asked for my check and she acted like she didn’t hear me and just walked to the next table. Now, the most disappointing part was the food. I absolutely love gnocchis so I ordered them. The serving size was so small, it was very disappointing. I know that pasta is inexpensive but they served me maybe $3 worth of gnocchis for $18.50. They really tasted good but it was like a kids meal. I was kicking myself for not going with the lasagna. I ordered the focaccia bread as an appetizer and while it was delicious, it was so thin that it could barely soak up the balsamic vinegar. I hate to leave a bad review because I usually love food of any kind but I was just really disappointed for the cost.

This has been my go-to Italian restaurant in Utah, and for good reason! Every visit feels like a little escape to Italy the food is incredibly fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The pesto pasta is absolutely heavenly, bursting with rich, vibrant basil flavor, and the focaccia bread is out of this world soft, warm, and perfectly seasoned.

The desserts are just as amazing beautifully made, not too sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu; every dish I’ve tried has been exceptional. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff make you feel right at home.

I can’t wait to go back and try even more dishes this place truly captures the heart of Italian dining!

Amazing!!! Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Utah! Everything from start to finish was amazing. Usually, I have a favorite thing that overshadows the other dishes, but we honestly loved everything! Homemade focaccia, crispy potatoes, pesto, carbonara, tiramisu, and panna cotta! Was SO happy with everything!

The vibe of the restaurant is so cute and inviting. Shoutout to Jay for the great service and the recommendations ☺️

I will definitely be back again soon!

Got too excited and didn’t get photos of everything, but the photos are of the pesto, carbonara, and the berry panna cotta

This is my absolute favorite restaurant with the most authentic Italian food. I just came back from Italy since being there for over a year and I’d been looking everywhere for authentic delicious food! This is the place to go! The general manager was amazing and is from Rome as he was so kind to let me order in Italian. Would recommend 10/10!

Five visits and every meal has been incredible. Authentic, made with heart, and truly reminds me of Italy. Gnocchi and lasagna are both outstanding. Service has been warm and impeccable every time, and the cozy bistro atmosphere is clean and inviting. If there’s a wait it’s because it’s always packed, which tells you everything. Highly recommend.

Food. I gave food only four stars because my husband’s pasta dish was too salty. My husband ordered pasta carbonara and I ordered Papardelle Sudo Di Noci (the one with walnuts). My pasta was delicious. It was creamy, nutty, and filling without making me feel stuffed. We also ordered focaccia bread with tomatoes and it was mouthwatering. The bread melted in our mouths. Strongly suggest!
Service. We had a better service the second time we came. First time we came, we had to wait for our salmon sandwich for almost an hour. Additionally, one time, I ordered the walnut pasta and our favorite foccia bread. I was told that the pasta I want is not available, but then I saw a person who came after me getting it. I probably was not on purpose but still didn’t make me feel good. The next time we came, the service was amazing.
Atmosphere. Atmosphere at this restaurant is great. We enjoy the decor in this place. However, I believe this place is too small. It feel little too snug when sitting close to other people. This place as always busy, so I believe it would be a good idea maybe to expand soon.

The most authentic Italian dining experience I’ve had in the states! We love the lasagna and the pesto lasagna was really good as well. The carbonara was better than anything I had in Italy lol

First time going here and it felt like you were eating in an authentic Italian restaurant! Meatballs were perfectly cooked, and the pesto lasagna was delicious! Everything was fresh and the service was timely. The manager Migey walked us through the menu and gave amazing recommendations. Our server Paige was on top of it as well- the whole team seemed to work seamlessly together. Definitely coming back soon!
