I am still deeply disturbed by what my husband and I witnessed at this location last night around 9pm.

After purchasing food and sitting down to eat in the food court, we watched a male employee prepare a plate of food for a cleaner who was mopping the floors. Before handing it to him, the employee leaned over and spat into the food, then gave it to the cleaner without his knowledge. A female employee and another male employee laughed, as if this behavior was normal or a joke.

The food may have been given to the worker for free. I don’t know if the cleaner asked for it or the employee just gave it to him, so as the male employee prepared the food, the cleaner continued to mop so he didn’t have the opportunity to see what he did. But we did!

We immediately stopped the cleaner and warned him not to eat the food. We then confronted the workers who miraculously were not laughing anymore. I request a refund for my own meal, as I no longer felt safe consuming anything prepared there.

What made this even more painful is that the cleaner was a Haitian immigrant. As someone from this culture, I know firsthand how hardworking, respectful, and genuine my people are. Watching a man who was simply doing his job be treated in such a degrading and inhumane way by immigrants from Asia, was just heartbreaking. Given the circumstances, this incident was not a joke, but rather something rooted in disrespect, cruelty, and RACISM.

The fact that those 3 employees found this funny speaks volumes about who they are and how this establishment is ran. I will never return, but I also strongly urge others to think twice before eating here.

Located in 3rd floor food court of Palisades Center, MW is one of the better options available for a reasonable price. Entrees are less than $10, and combos available for rice/noodles, 2 meat and vegetables. There are plenty seating spots in front of the store. All the dishes look really well made. Usually a short line and it moves quickly since they have several people working behind the counter. I got to try the noodles, teriyaki chicken and vegetables. I liked the taste of each of them.

*update 12/2024
Flavor here for general tsos is still the original super sweet & yummy which is way better than the Willowbrook Mall Master Wok that not only changed the flavor into something bad but also charges more than $2 above the price here at the Palisades Mall Master Wok!
I am very thankful to the owner/manager of this location for keeping the price reasonable and keeping the flavor the original yummy sweet style as it should be!

Price today 12/20/2024 was $11.37 for a double meat general tsos. That’s less than a $1 increase in 2 years. The MW in Willowbrook Mall is overcharging and costs almost $14 for the same portion but terrible sauce flavor.
*End of update.

Super delicious Chinese fast food! Great prices! Please re-open a location in the Paramus Park Mall soon!

Pros:
+Most delicious and unique version of General TSOs chicken which is sweet, savory, crunchy outside, soft inside and super tasty sauce!+At least 4 other chicken choices, all yummy!
+Great prices during these ridiculous Bidenflation times.
+Lots of other food choices.
+Great drink selection including yummy raspberry iced tea, Snapple, coke and Pepsi products.
+Plenty of seating.
+Actual plastic bags so your food won’t leak all over you or your car if it spills.
+Actual real plastic straws that taste great and are sturdy!

Cons:
-None!

This was the worst Chinese type of food I ever had in my life. Everything looked good under the light the minute I took it back to my table and opened it up everything just looked black and drenched in soy sauce. My eggroll tasted like it was three weeks old literally spit it out. Literally while eating my food, I felt my stomach rejecting it.

This food looked so good underneath lighting. As soon as I took it out of the light the teriyaki chicken looked green and the fried rice looked like shadookie shanders to the browns. I ate 1/3 of the food until my stomach couldn’t take it anymore. I threw it out and debated calling the bank back saying I got scammed. I feel the repercussions of the food 6 hours later my poop smells like the teriyaki chicken.

Moral of the story: don’t trust Asian food not made by Asians and is shown under lights.

They give a big portion of food each time and are very friendly people. I love coming here with my family.

Its decent. The fried rice was a little overcooked and the orange chicken was overly sweet. The food is 12 dollars for a box and it is a lot of food. I wouldnt go out of my way to get it by any means but its not bad.

I used to really like this place but now the workers there are rude and they are getting cheap with servings. They also have so many rules about sauces. They were never like this before. But now, I’m done going there.

I had food there twice. First time was terrible, but the second was worse. Both times there is something wrong with meat. Chicken tasted like dirty sponge, impossible to eat. Had to throw the whole food away.
