Master Pizza is our favorite pizza in Lakewood, right up there with Roman fountain. The sauce is excellent, the crust is excellent, the toppings are great. If you’re in the mood for a great takeout pizza, I highly recommend master Pizza! And it appears they make their salad dressing from scratch so not one of those little pre-bought packets.

Literally nothing about the pizza advertised as a Chicago Tavern Style Pizza was Chicago Tavern Style Pizza–the dough texture and seasoning (not crispy btw), the flavor of the sauce, the composition and ratio of the sauce/cheese/toppings. IT WASN’T EVEN CUT CORRECTLY; the pieces should be small and uneven. PLEASE don’t hurt people from Chicago like this. Rename this pizza! Leave Chicago out of it.

Wings were so sad. I felt bad for the pigeon they killed for them. I ate a couple but there was something wrong with them besides their miniscule size. They tasted weird. Threw them away. Husband said the pozza was okay but the bottom of it was oddly over greasy. Only tried the place out because my usual spot Roman Fountain ran out of dough.

I absolutely love this pizza. It reminds me so much of my grandpa’s pizza. He owned a shop, and this is very similar. The thickness of the crust is perfect, and sauce is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The pizza toppings and crust were great! However, there was no sauce. When we called the manager said “it happens all the time because when you wanted garlic sauce we assumed you did didn’t want sauce.” If this happens all the time why don’t they change their website so it doesn’t happen.

I’ve had the Gluten Free Detroit Style pizza quite a few times since I discovered it last year and it has been incredible every time! The crust is thick and chewy, with that most desired slightly crispy finish on the bottom. It is the best gluten free thick crust pizza I’ve ever had. Plenty of zesty sauce on top with the wonderful combination of old world pepperoni top that’s slightly crispy on the edges and has a nice touch of spicy flavor. Lakewood is pickup or delivery only and everyone is really friendly and they’re fast too.
