Ok so, here’s the deal, the ambience is pretty bad… but the food was fantastic. We had a great server named Ross. The sushi was great and Ross was very knowledgeable about their dishes and sake, he made great recommendations. We had some Gyoza to start then split the Cancun roll, Crazy roll, and Dancing eel roll. They were all delicious. Looked like a lot of locals in there eating. We got there at 6:30 and there were only 3 cars in the lot…so that and the look of the place made us skeptical, but we’re so glad we had dinner there. If you want some good sushi, definitely check out Master Joe’s

Great sushi! Extremely fresh fish. I ordered ahead online but because I was playing in the State USTA Championship Playoffs, my match kept me from getting to the restaurant before they close between lunch and dinner. I called the number Google has but it’s not the correct number. Fortunately, the owner called me! I was able to pick it up during their dinner hours and she made everything all over again to be sure it was fresh! Highly recommend their sushi!!!

Food was great. The sushi was fresh and the rice was fluffy. Waitress was very friendly and tentative even though she’s by herself. The restaurant is spacious so you don’t have to worry about bumping to others. Chef even came out to chat with us. Great location. 5 mins from Cold Mil dolphin cruise.

The food was good (see Spicy Salmon picture), but I will never go back to Master Joe’s again. The service was so terrible that it felt like we were in an SNL skit. My friend is a world traveler, he has been to 6 continents, and he said that this was the second worst wait staff he has ever had. When we asked for information about a sushi roll, she said in an irritated tone, “what do you want to know?” When we asked what was in it (my friend can’t have mayo), she yelled for the sushi chef across the restaurant. He seemed just as perplexed by our question. When we asked for a wine list or drink menu, she said they were all out of date, and then waved at the bar and suggested we take a look at what was available when we asked what whiskeys she had. There were only 4 other customers, but her attitude was such that we were taking up her valuable time. Let me be clear, we are not fancy people, we like good food and friendly service, and this restaurant failed this basic test.

So Very Good!
We had a big table tonight because we were meeting up with a lot of family and we had a fantastic time! It was a little busy but I could tell the staff was working hard to keep up with everything and all that we ordered came out quickly and DELICIOUS! The shrimp tempura was amazing and there were options for the vegetarian in the group. Some of our group ordered sushi and loved it! I don’t care for sushi and had the chicken hibachi and really liked it. I definitely recommend!

Sushi was amazing. We ordered several rolls and other appetizers. We were recommended the sushi pizza. Got it & loved it. Highly recommend that menu item. Never had anything like that from a sushi joint. A must stop when you’re in the area. Waiter was very helpful, and seemed to do it all. Was the bartender, waiter, and busboy. Somehow they kept up and we never were waiting for a long time.

I came here for my birthday. Holy cow! The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of sushi. Chef special rolls are around $15. Normal price.
They do not have a kids menu but made some hibachi chicken on a smaller plate for my kids. If you’re looking for a place with tenders and fries, this isn’t it. It was worth hearing them complain about the lack of fried junk to enjoy my sushi. Wish we lived closer!
