Social Profile:

Massimino’s is a local spot where you eat like you were back in Italy. A Mediterranean menu, that works withhold pressed olive oils, hand made pasta and the best cuts of meats. Our seafoods all hand selected. The wines that accompany our menu are amazing, working with smaller vineyards from italy. Come and enjoy what the North End is really like. Buon Appetito.

Italian-American classics served in petite, rustic surroundings with a familial atmosphere.

Came here off a random chance and a google search. Didn’t have a reservation and it was a game night and they still managed to squeeze us in. Experience was overall great. First served bread with really good oil. You have to order Nanas meatball – our group doesn’t even like meatballs and we were extremely impressed with this. For our main dishes we order a dish on special with a vodka sauce and scallops/shrimp. This had the best scallops we have ever tried. Next we ordered the lobster ravioli which had really nice portions of lobster. We also order shrimp scampi and gnocchi. Overall really liked everything we had and definitely would not hesitate to come back. Small and cute atmosphere and nice and friendly staff.

Food is amazing and service is friendly. Owners are super nice. The red sauce is amazing. Everyone I went with loved their meals. Get the giant meatball, you won’t regret it!

After reading some of the great reviews we decided to give Massimino’s a try. It did not disappoint. My 10 year old decided to go out of her comfort zone with the Chicken and Sausage with red peppers. She absolutely loved it. My middle son, the pasta eater in the family, was absolutely in heaven with his chicken and broccoli alfredo. For starters we ordered antipasto and mixed greens that came on a charcuterie board as well as a meatball( the meatball is from another planet. It was soooo good…in fact we ordered an additional one to go). I had the lasagna and my oldest had ravioli with mixed vegetables.

Excellent experience all round. Much better than the Hanover street restaurants we tried. Goes to show you can still find a wonderful “hidden gem” of a restaurant in the North end.

I had the shrimp scampi and I was quite impressed with it. The service was great too and everyone was very polite. The ambiance was solid also, however they seem to have only playing Sam Smith songs on the speakers. Not a complaint just something I noticed. Overall it was a solid experience and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in Boston!

If you want delicious, filling, quality, authentic Italian food Boston, then this is the place to go. Located in the North End area of Boston, there are many Italian places to choose from but this is a gem that not many people know of.

This has to be top 3 of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. (and coming from NY, that says alot!) The service was amazing! Special shout out to Sebastian who made the experience a 10/10 and compliments to the chef! Absolute MUST if you’re in Boston.

Something definitely happened to this place. Either new owner or completely new team. We used to come there regularly and usually our experience was great. However, this time the first thing I noticed is that on Sunday evening, and I’m not talking about 10 p.m., almost no one was in this restaurant, it was literally empty. Although usually they used to have a line at that time. Well, we still decided to come in. Second, we noticed that the prices went up at least 1.5X – 2X for everything, you simply cannot find any food cheaper than $32. Even chicken. I understand that everything is expensive these days, but that’s a little bit too much. At the same time, the portions seem to be smaller, much less meat or seafood, mostly vegetables or pasta, plus they must have got a new cook, and a lot of stuff in our order was literally soaked in vinegar, which was absolutely unnecessary. The menu got much smaller, there is no kids menu, and the choice of desserts or coffee is now minimal. Oh, and they used to serve a small bowl of pasta with sauce as a side, now they’re not even doing this! Saving on everything. We ended up spending over $200 for four people including two kids. It’s sad, but most likely we’re not coming back.
