Arrived at 12:30 for the pizza lunch buffet until 2. Greeted & drink order taken right away. Went to buffet area. Salad section was nice large bowl of lettuce with a bunch of available topping. Looked and saw pizza area. Several were there, but looked and tasted like over an hour old. About 1:15 when we started to leave, the remaining pizzas were rightfully trashed as thy should’ve been a couple hours before when fresh pizzas were brought out. Clue to the mess was during our 45 min visit, not a single pizza was brought out until we were walking toward door.

We hadn’t been to Massey’s in awhile so we opted to have dinner. We sat down and placed our order. After sitting for close to 20 minutes our waitress was confused with what we ordered. When I reminded her we received our luke warm potato skins. Shortly after our food arrived and was hot and fresh. Overall dining experience was okay but there is room for improvement.

I’m actually in shock about how I was treated by the manger, Jamie. We came in with a large party with kids and the waiter was great. We understand that large parties are difficult especially on a Saturday night so when everyone was done eating and me and my husband had still not received our food we finally got the waiters attention. He said that someone else had taken our order and that they were getting it for us asap. We were very kind and said no problem. Never asked for him to take money off or for anything free. We paid for our food and waited to take it go because everyone else from our party was already leaving. We got to the car I opened the pizza to take a bite and it was the wrong pizza and the salad had ingredients on it that I am allergic to. I went back into the restaurant asked them for the right food and waited another 20 minutes for that to be ready. I got the pizza and headed home. Once again never asked for money off or anything for free. When I got home the pizza was covered in giant pieces of bleu cheese which is not listed on the menu as a topping. The salad still had all the crumbs from the croutons which I am allergic too that apparently they just decided to take off and not remake, so I couldn’t eat that either. We called the store to ask to talk to the manager to ask for a refund at this point it had been 3+ hours since we sat down at the restaurant. The manger argued with me that bleu cheese and Gorgonzola cheese are the exact same thing and that’s just what they use. The manger then claimed I “cussed her out” which I did not. Then she said they substitute bleu cheese when they run out of gorgonzola . Which is fine for some people but bleu cheese is strong and sharp and definitely not the same. She claimed the waiter lied to me and he is the one who messed up and she said “ that is his problem then”. She then hung up the phone on me after she yelled at me to call corporate . I called back to find out her name for when I call corporate on Monday and she screamed from the background “Jamie and they know who I am, I am friends with the owner”. We were kind every time until the manger denied that the pizza was made wrong. 3 hours and 3 times it was wrong, All I wanted was a refund for my 30+ dollar meal that I can not eat.

I ordered the captain’s fish and chips today from the Grove City store. I just wanted to say first of all the food was absolutely delicious and second of all I’m handicapped. I called the store to see if they were able to bring my order out to me because I’ve had a tough day today and 100% absolutely they did. I wish I would have got the lady’s name that brought it out to me but I just want to say I appreciate it so much for that big act of kindness ❤️❤️❤️ you definitely have a customer for life

Went in for the lunch buffet between 11:30-12:30 with about 5 other people dining. Whilst the food all tasted good, the variety was anything but “large” as advertised. Price was $10.99 per person and $5.99 is a very2

There were 5 pizzas: sausage, pepperoni, cheese, pepperoni and sausage, and Supreme. Next to the pizza was 3 very hot bins which marinara, pasta, and plain fried wings. In another bin was garlic bread which was tasty but it was not kept warm.

The salad bar was essentially non edible as the bowl of iceberg lettuce was soft and wilted. There were only 6 toppings and 2 dressings available. They also did not have any of the dessert pizzas as advertised.

They only provided paper plates/bowls which didn’t really bother me other than the fact that the buffet was so small it just made the whole experience seem cheap.

Overall the food tasted good, so the experience was fine, but the variety was extremely slim with two of the advertised items either not being available or just plain inedible.

Our pizzas were great… Once we got them. If you preorder on line, however, make sure you show up MUCH earlier than you expect the order, if you want it to be ready on time.

Whatever you do, avoid the manager, “Jamie,” who needs MAJOR training in what customer service means. Customers are not always right, but telling them that they are acting entitled for wanting their pizza on time, complaining about the pay and hours and not letting a customer talk to the owner, who I understood was onsite, really is unprofessional. I will not diss Massey’s but this manager has lost my business at this location.

(3 pizzas, a salad and 2 liter soda.)

Been going to this location for years and today well be the last! First thing is Bobby was a great server but the food and cleanliness would be a zero! The menus were dirty, months of crumbs in the seats and the plexiglass between the booths haven’t been cleaned in a long time!
Our pizza was uncooked and literally covered in cornmeal! We let Bobby know and showed her how much corn meal was covering the entire pizza! We “tried” to eat some but it wasn’t edible. We had cornmeal all over our hands from trying to wipe it off! We had used all the napkins and it was all over the table. It was just gross. It’s like eating a big ball of cornmeal. We asked to speak to the manager Andrea and she didn’t even bother to come to the table and check on us, apologize or anything just said she’d give us 50% off the pizza and she sent the new server out to do it. Very poor customer service on the manager Andreas part! We weren’t even worth her time to come out to the table and they were not busy!
We will not ever be back!

Exactly what we are looking for in a pizza place with adult beverage options! We had the Sicilian Deep Dish and really enjoyed it. And Brooklyn was very attentive and so fun as our server. Also appreciated the multiple TVs for watching games. We will definitely be back!

Very good pizza and cheesy bread! I had the Mexican pizza. Comes with sour cream and taco sauce. The video is how it comes. Would recommend no lettuce. It’s piled high

Yesterday I drove by Massey’s of Grove City and I felt a pit in my stomach over how it made me feel just to see it there and to be reminded of what happened to me there on 06/24/25 – and I realized that I hadn’t done anything about it – which is an injustice to other people who love a good pizza in Grove City (GC).

Today, I reviewed the low ratings that they have received in recent days and I saw that the common factor was the same issue that I had, which was/is their Bartender. I do not know her name, but, I think it must be the same one that everyone else in the one-star reviews is referring to as being “awful.” Could only be her.

Probably every pizza place, can have a bad day, or put out a bad pizza once in a while, I understand that and I can accept that, but in my case, I walked into the GC Massey’s Pizza Sports Bar with a very burnt carryout pizza, in its box, specifically to show them how badly the pizza that we had ordered for carryout was, and that we had not realized it until we got it home and that I wanted a refund.

When she did finally come over, walking towards me from behind the bar, there was no “hi” or “hello,” only “what do you need?” and I said “I’d like to show you this pizza, if I could” and she promptly told me in a very snide manner that she wasn’t taking that back, and something about the health department, and when I asked her again if I could just show it to her she said “No.” Now I was beginning to get a little stunned already over her lack of general respect, interest in my issue, and basic manners.

Professionalism? None. I immediately prepared myself not to even expect that from her based on her initial apathy and lack of manners towards me. But, we are in Grove City, and everyone is basically polite and understanding, but this woman does not belong in the hospitality business at all and she is the reason why my family, residents of GC for more that 30 years and regular customers of Massey’s will never go back to that location.

I have encountered customer service people in the past who are maybe rough around the edges, or, they aren’t empowered to act on issues, or, maybe they are just tired or grumpy and a little insensitive, but this woman is in a league all on her own. Her demeanor and behavior towards me, for goodness sake, made me wonder at the time of my interaction with her, what kind of an upbringing she had had to make her so extremely unkind, sarcastic and even a little sadistic, because she obviously enjoyed denying me even the opportunity to show her the burnt pizza which came from her own place of employment. She spoke over me, taunted me, would not let me explain – anything, and was unwilling to make anything right for me as a customer. I am a 60-year old, female professional, with a family, and a business of my own, and I am today letting the person or persons reading this that I have never been treated by someone in a business position the way she treated me.

She was awful, dismissive and rude. Thankfully, a much younger, much more professional and obviously better-educated woman who had been busy trying to manage or fix one of their machines walked over, asked us what the issue was, asked if she could see the pizza (appropriate and what any normal manager would and should do) and agreed that it was not as their pizzas should be. She took my number (appropriate) and said she would have her manager call me about issuing a credit, which he did call me.

I don’t know that I expressed to him enough how awful the experience was and I don’t feel that he was affected by what I did tell him about the experience. He actually advised me to call their corporate offices about my refund because he did not have the ability to do it – and the option to just have another pizza made?

No. I will not give any more business to a place that puts someone like that in charge of customers and I would like people to know about it, which is why I am writing this long review today. There are so many great pizza choices in GC and qualified, pleasant, and nice people to order them from.
