Come back again.
We elwent back another day for their breakfast here and it was also incredible. The burrito was massive, but that crab omelet with hollandaise sauce was the best. Their specialty coffee was so delicious as well.
Believe me when I say that this was the best breakfast I have ever had!!! I ordered the steak and eggs, which exceeded my expectations. All high quality, tender and prepared to perfection!
The hashbrowns were crispy and not.
My friend ordered the eggs benedict. It did not disappoint. The coffee was amazing as well. The wait staff was on point, friendly and knowledgeable.
So good that I had to tip the chef.
The decor is warm. inviting and earthy.
This is my spot when I return to visit Spokane. Can’t wait to eat dinner here next time.
Firstly, I have to admit, my husband is a self-appointed steak connoisseur, with a refined palate for steak, by cut and cooking. He ordered rare, and almost sent it back as it was way overcooked for a rare order. He said it was a $30 steak at best. I ordered lamb. It tasted okay to me, but I was disappointed at the small portions, 2 shanks. It was plated in a lovely way though, but for the price it needs to have wow taste.
The salad had enormous sized, burnt croutons. The waitress noticed them being burnt when she came back and replaced them. The scalloped potatoes looked interesting but were cold in the middle and bland.
We thought we’d order desserts to go in hopes those might salvage our night out splurge. We ordered the flourless chocolate cake, creme brûlée, and beignets. They were all the worst we’ve ever had. The small slice of cake had only a 1/5 inch layer or so of chocolate and was mostly some sort of white nougat or cream. The creme brûlée had an odd flavor and the caramelized crust was so thick and hard it was really hard to eat. The tiny beignets were hard, as though they had been sitting out, stale.
I really hate to give such a critical review. We’ve been here once before a while back and were disappointed then too, maybe not as badly. So I wanted to share our experience before some plunks down their money with high dining expectations.
Interestingly, it seemed like they had more seafood options than steak. Diners should also be aware that they include a generous service/gratuity fee of I believe 25% in your bill, as many patrons are probably staying overnight at the resort. We did NOT notice that service fee and added another 20% or so for a tip. We did not want to fault the waitress for our disappointment with the food, as she was great.
Staff was very professional and stayed on top of refills and ask.
Only thing that surprised us was the automatic service fee added to the bill which worked out to be about 28% of the bill.
Recommend making reservations.
