As certified yappers, it’s impressive to say we had a conversation-killing lunch at the local Masons Grill today. The food was SEAUX yummy!! Our table ordered the famous Bloody Mary (a must), shrimp and grits, hamburger steak with Mac & cheese and mashed potato sides, and the chicken and waffles. Not a crumb could be found when we were done. Shout out to our waiter Dell for the top-notch service

I Ordered a well done burger for my son and this is how we received it. The whole patty was not cooked. The fries were cold as well. They brought “fresh fries” that were still cold and it had a fried shrimp in them that the manager ended up bringing to us. Which just tells me they are in the kitchen rushing and throwing things together. The food was cold and the toast was hard as a rock. The manager took the burger off the bill and charged us for a replacement meal which was bacon, toast and eggs that we chose. We will NOT be returning. 0/10. The female owner has a nasty nonchalant attitude as well. Lastly I was told by a manager named Ryan plastic utensils are $1.50 and then another worker over heard him and said they are $0.50. Either way that’s ridiculous.

Driving through, from Florida to Dallas, and this was the place we picked for dinner. And we were glad we chose Mason’s Grill. Great menu, and great food. And how often does a chef come out to talk to the customers? They were out of the Gouda cheese. Switched to the Monterey Jack. Appetizer was the onion fried boudin. Delicious! Great taco Tuesday deal. Kind of small but a great price. The burger of the month. Fantastic. Loved the onion rings. And we saved a little room for the white chocolate bread pudding. Wow! Good service. Loved the atmosphere.

Wow! We tried a variety of sweet and savory dishes—chicken biscuit, strawberry pancakes, biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes, stuffed french toast, power bowl, shrimp and grits. The food was all good and the portions are ENORMOUS! Our favorite dishes were the pancakes, power bowl and, by far, the shrimp and grits!
The french toast is made with french bread which was tough, as expected. French bread is great for po-boys but not ideal for french bread. The flavor was pretty good but it was difficult to eat. Also, the stuffing was quite heavy and somewhat overwhelmed the dish.
The biscuits are delicious—great texture, size, and flavor. The gravy was good but needs more sausage flavor.
The chicken portions were large, well-fried, and very yummy.
The shrimp and grits were, by far, my favorite dish. The shrimp were well cooked, the tasso sausage added a savory ounch of flavor, and the sauce and grits were creamy and well seasoned. I ate every bite. It also came with a bread stick for dipping. YUMMM!
We were a group of five people and were immediately seated at 930AM on a Sat morning. Our server was great. She knew the menu well, was quite friendly, and did a wonderful job keeping our drinks full. Our order came our right and the ticket times were fast! We didn’t wait long at all for anything.
Every area of the restaurant was clean. The bathrooms are a little small, with only two stalls in each one. The soaps and paper towels were full. The music was a little too loud in the bar area, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly loud. I did find that it eas a little warm, but that could’ve been because we were eating such rich and decadent food and drinking coffee.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend a visit!

Very good! We were driving through and decided to stop and try it out. We had the fried mushrooms, OMG! So good! I then had a cup of gumbo and red beans and rice. Amazing! We’ve already decided to stop again on our next trip.

My man got the eclipse burger and my kids did the build your own and I had the wedge salad. Everything was amazing, from the moment we seen the parking lot full to leaving the restaurant. The hostess with dark hair and the most charming personality greeted us and when I asked how long the wait was she said with a smile “no wait” I didn’t believe her and she worked my family in. Our waitress delaine I think was her name, was amazing and attentive. The drinks we had were top notch. I’m a bartender and my bf and I search for places like this and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and welcoming as well as updated. There is not one thing bad I would say about this place except I wish I had one of this in mobile Alabama!

The reason for my visit to Mason’s Grill was to try the gumbo that my best friend especially recommended! I visited three times in 10 days and each time the experience was flawless!
Naeem, Dylan, Nija, and Reyland define what great customer service looks like. They are knowledgeable, honest, and extremely welcoming.They treat every customer with the same high level of respect and honesty. Whether they’re giving personal recommendations or tracking down answers to my questions, they did it with a smile.
Nija was kind enough to offer us a sample of the Shrimp and Corn Soup it was so good I had to come back a week later just to order a full serving for the family. The shrimp and grits are one of my favorites, My Momma loves the crab cakes, and the chicken alfredo was Slammin’ too
The real reason I give any 5 star rating is based on how I was treated. I had to acknowledge these guys. I appreciate the high level of customer service. Thank you all.

Best fried mushrooms EVER! Handbreaded, fresh, in house and house made Chipotle Ranch. Yummy! The food is delicious, service was AMAZING, and the atmosphere is casual and fun…wonderful time here at Mason’s!

From the hostess stand to the waitress Amy, the service was impeccable. We had the two egg breakfast, the two pancakes alone, and the three Benedicts-triple threat. Everything was delicious. It was so much food we couldn’t quite finish, and we shared. We had one of each Bloody Mary’s. They put bacon in them which is always my favorite part! Bathrooms were clean and the parking at 9 am on Saturday was easy. When we left at 10 the parking lot was full and there was a wait inside. Good place to stop in and eat. Highly recommend!

Fried mushrooms were great, fried pork chop was good. I was disappointed in there macaroni and cheese see included photo. Very disappointed with my chicken tenders they were over cooked.
