This was a great sandwich! I got the Connecticut roll and my wife got the Lobster Salad Roll. Both were full of tender lobster but the salad roll also had mayonnaise and veggies added. The bun was split and grilled with butter (inside and out) before the filling was added. This is a sandwich stand so you have to take your food to the tables in the food court to eat.

The service here was good, the food lackluster. Paying $20 for a salad, I expect a meal, not something the size of a fast food side salad with those exact same accouterments, the exception being the lobster. Mind you, the lobster was delicious, but as you can see from the picture, I had more tomato than lobster. It also came with a dressing packet of the sort sold by a bulk supply company. For a $20 salad, I expect a lot more. My son had the plain macaroni and cheese, and he thought it was just okay; he was happier with the bag of chips. Maybe their sandwiches are where they excel, I dunno, but based on this expensive mediocre experience, I’m not going to try this stand again.

I was expecting something good and was excited to have a lobster roll. I got the Connecticut Roll. I paid $23. The sandwich I received was surprisingly small, and the bottom of the roll was swimming in butter and lobster juice!! You might think the more the merrier, but no, it was super saggy, and I only got to eat the top of it. Lobster tasted okay, but the bread being saggy ruined my experience. What a waste of money. I went and bought something else.

So. I had been waiting so long to try this place as I love lobster rolls. I was sadly disappointed…. First off they are super expensive for the AMOUNT of the sandwich you get. I know lobster is expensive so I’m saying for the AMOUNT of sandwich. The roll itself is tiny making for a tiny sandwich. I could hold it with my finger tips. The lemon wedge had more weight to it. They had the right bread.. just needs to be a tad bigger. It was tasty…. But felt more like an appetizer than a lunch. I won’t be back. Sorry.

THE BEST LOBSTER ROLL EVER. I don’t live in Minneapolis so I was only able to get his once on my trip. Biggest regret. I kid y’all not, I dream about this lobster roll. I crave it at all hours of the day. I sometimes think about the fact that I may never be able to eat this Lobster roll again and start to cry. Words cannot describe the goodness of this roll. Food came out fast, workers were friendly, and not too expensive. I am tearing up right now thinking about this roll. When I say i would fly all the way to Minnesota and LIVE inside Mall of America I am not joking. Dead serious. Anyways, if you are near this place, EAT THEIR FOOD. the best roll is the Connecticut roll!!

I am in town for a quick bestbuy meeting, and decide to see one of the biggest of mall in America, AKA MOA. After a long walk, I want something refreshing and light before I get on the plane. I have no idea where is Mason’s famous lobster coming from, but saw a low carbs sign and decide to go for it. My plan to cut out heavy food and oils during my trip, yet I did not expect a sodium overloaded lobster sandwich. No wonder the cashier asked me if I want to have a drink with it. Lol

This lobster roll is the bomb! For anyone complaining about the amount of lobster for the price, they are crazy! Having spent every summer on the New Hampshire/Maine coast, and having so many lobsters and lobster rolls, this is such a gem to have here in Minnesota! It’s authentic, portions are generous, and it is amazing! I spoke with the employees who said the company brought them all to Maine in June to show them the process and teach them from start to finish how lobster rolls are made (Boat to Table). It is an absolute winner in my book and one of the best values in Minnesota and by far at MOA! I chose the classic lobster roll and of course added the extra lobster tail, it only cost $30 and was an absolute dream! GO HERE!! I live in Minneapolis and only came to the mall to have this roll, need I say more?

I come here like once a week. And have been for the past 5 months. The prices for the lobster rolls here are very affordable ($21.99) compared to the usual $30+ that is normally charged everywhere else. You also get a VERY decent amount of lobster meat in each sandwich/roll for the price point. I normally get the Connecticut roll and the lobster grilled cheese. Absolutely delicious. I’m not the biggest fan of chilled food as a whole. So if you also don’t like chilled food, do yourself a favor and read the menu before ordering.

The roll was a LOT smaller than expected. The bottom of the roll was completely soggy. The roll itself was very salty. The potatoe salad was extremely bland. No seasoning at all, also a very small portion. The soup was just ok. The soup was cold. I ordered extra lobster and was given one small piece not even an inch long. It was very rubbery. Very bland, no seasoning.
