Hard to find good lobster rolls in Charlotte, so I’m VERY glad to have found Mason’s!

It’s lobster, so expect to pay more than what you may be used to spending when you go out to eat. It’s totally worth it though. The rolls are loaded with lobster meat. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth.

When I found out that there was a lobster roll chain restaurant in Charlotte I had to try it. I had the lobster BLT roll. It was delicious the bacon overpowered the lobster a little bit. The lobster was delicious. I definitely want to try other items on the menu. The prices are decent not too expensive.

Lobster roll was great and with plenty of lobster. I consider adding the extra lobster upgrade but really was not needed.
Lobster bisque and clam chowder were delicious

Lobster rolls tasted great (we had both the classic and Connecticut style). As good as any we’ve had in Boston! Portions were generous and prices fair. I’d pass on the sides (we had the mac n cheese and the fries) but the main attraction was on point! Service was great too! Def worth the trip to Rea Farms!

I had the Connecticut Roll and the Lobster Bisque—both were incredible! The roll was packed with warm, buttery lobster and served on a perfectly toasted bun. The bisque was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and high quality.

Staff was friendly, service was quick, and the food lived up to the hype. This is officially my go-to spot for lobster rolls in Charlotte. Highly recommend!

Today was the grand opening, I stopped by to check out the newest addition to the Rea Farms’ food scene.

It’s a fast-casual spot where you place your order at the counter, they give you a number, and call it out when your food is ready. The space was clean, the staff was friendly, and service moved quickly even with the grand opening crowd.

I went with The Bar Harbor roll, served Connecticut style. It comes warm with butter and includes 50 percent more lobster and tail meat. The lobster was fresh and flavorful, and the roll had a nice texture. I just wish it had a little more butter, both on the lobster and the roll itself. It’s served with a pickle spear on the side.

If you’re not in the mood for a roll, there are other options. You can order a salad topped with lobster, shrimp, or crab. They also offer lobster mac and cheese and a lobster grilled cheese sandwich.

For sides, they’ve got French fries, potato salad, coleslaw, or chips. You can also pair your meal with a cup or bowl of soup. The soup options include lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, and a rotating soup of the day.

They have a kids menu too, which includes a hot dog, grilled cheese, or mac and cheese. Good for younger diners who aren’t into seafood yet. Dessert is simple, with whoopie pies available to finish off the meal.

Price and quality are in line with other lobster roll franchises. This location is locally owned by a Charlotte resident and Black woman entrepreneur, which adds a local connection that’s always good to see.

Glad I made the trip. I’ll be back next time I’m in the Rea Farms area.

If you’re anywhere near Charlotte you might want to check out this eatery. It’s a hidden gem and the food was delicious. The lobster was so yummy that we actually ordered lobster salads to go. The owner is a delightful young woman who is very personable. Her teenage daughter, who works with her, is a senior in high school who wants to become an orthodontist. We ate there on Monday. It was worth the drive. Just tell the owner that Pattie sent you.

I had the Connecticut Roll. It was so delicious that I took one to go. I also tried the lobster bisque, and it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and quick, and the whole place had a laid-back coastal vibe. Worth every penny. Can’t wait to come back!

Yesterday my friends and I went out to lunch for Galentine’s Day at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls in Charlotte, NC. We are all from New England so we know a great one, It was wonderful and so was the owner Angela who came over to our table to introduce herself. I highly recommend it for lobster roll fans. Also, reasonable prices, spotless and located in a great area.
