I’ve been coming to this location for years and it’s definitely a must try when you’re at the boardwalk! My favorites are the Classic Roll (served chilled with a little mayo & lemon butter), the Lobster BLT, and the new Crab Roll (drizzled with butter & topped with Old Bay seasoning). You also have the option to get any lobster roll with extra meat! They have other lobster options as well including lobster mac & cheese, lobster bisque, and a lobster grilled cheese. This place is basically heaven for lobster lovers and I highly recommend it! Check them out!

The classic lobster roll was delicious! We came on a day with gorgeous weather and sat out on the patio as well. When I ordered the woman working at the counter was so kind and I told her it was my first time in and wasn’t sure if they call a number or what the system was to get the food when it’s ready. She said they weren’t too busy so she was happy to bring it to my table. I thought that was incredibly friendly. My husband doesn’t eat lobster so he had a side of fries and those are also delicious! Very happy with our experience!

I visited this location with family. I ordered the Lobster Salad roll and my family ordered The Connecticut roll. We had 2 children with us who we ordered grilled cheeses and hot dogs for. The food came out pretty quick and were well temperatured.

Both lobster rolls were good but my favorite was the Connecticut. The lobster dressed with warm butter and lemon was so good and provided a savory element to the sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted and every meal came with a pickle. I was pleased with the taste but with the cost I wish the meal came with at least chips. They did have combos that cost additional than the entrée that included chips. The Connecticut roll alone cost $23 and to pay just $23 for just the roll is not a meal.

I was looking forward to trying the lobster rolls but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the original roll because it sounded delicious but it was a little too plain. The fries were good but a little too salty at the bottom.

Even with all that, I would still go back and try their other items.

Come on, now – this is a killer lobster roll!! We got the classic which comes on a garlic toast type bun and wowsers! That’s some delicious lobster! And the fries stand up beside it – normally you get a sandwich THAT GOOD and the fries are meh in comparison, but they were just as tasty! Don’t skip Mason’s if you have the chance!

Tried a classic lobster roll. It was pretty good, very meaty and the warm toasted buttered bun was so good and soft. The lobster meat was cold though which I didn’t care for but other than that it was decent. The price was $23.50 for one roll.

This mine and my wife’s first lobster roll ever. They were awesome! You got a lot of lobster in the sandwich. We had the clam chowder also and it was fantastic. Well worth the price!

Ordered takeout from here and this is what I recieved: I’m being critical due to the price being significantly more expensive than local sandwich/lunch chains.

Lobster roll tasted good; roll was buttered nicely….overall was underwhelming in my opinion from all the word-of-mouth hype surrounding it. The roll itself was very small in comparison to local businesses that charge 1/4 the price for a sandwich at double the size. The big difference being the lobster but at the suspected $15~ difference to cover a 5″ sandwich worth of filling, it seems to fall a bit short to me in value personally.

The Mac and cheese was burned on the outside as the picture shows; the middle that was edible was decent though.

The fries were meh; seasoning was heavy on the top and none on the bottom; guessing I was supposed to shake the bag to even it out. Fries themselves were crunchy to where It seems like they were cooked a bit too long.

Would’ve given the place 4 stars if the Mac n cheese & fries were not overcooked to a crisp. I just figured for over 30 bucks it’d be a bit better
