I don’t know why the reviews are so low the food came out hot and fresh! Fries were perfectly seasoned and the lemonade was just the right amount of sweet and lemon! I like that they are open later hours. Plus the young men working were very kind and professional. I will definitely be back!

Mine came out hot which made me happy. Manager was on point until he had to refund my money because they were out of gumbo. Thin pieces of fish. They did pass the color test to look like catfish. Fries were hot and fresh. Well seasoned. The tarter-sauce was my favorite. Which is weird. They can go back to the drawing board on that hot sauce. Id be back. Just not this week! Better than what you get for $6 at McDonalds. Would have been nice to charge my laptop since wifi is free?

Normally, I don’t leave reviews, even if I did have bad service. But, tonight was the most humiliating experience I have ever had with a fast food restaurant. I order my food and get ready to pay for it with 2 $20 bills. I give my money to a young man and a young lady comes to the windows and tells me she can’t accept one of my 20’s because they don’t look the same. Note: one was printed in 1992 and the other in 2023, so they will look different. I told her you can see the same watermark in both bills. She said someone else came in another time before with the same looking bill and it was fake. I told her I don’t have any reason to give her fake money and I got the bills from the credit union. THIS IS WHAT MADE ME REALLY UPSET SHE JUST STOOD THERE LOOKING AT ME NOT SAYING ANYTHING WITH SO MUCH DISRESPECT. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS STORE. I WILL ALWAYS FROM NOW ON MAKE THE TRIP TO THE CEDAR HILL STORE. HAMPTON STORE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL EVERYTIME I GO THERE.

Although it took pretty long to cook some fish, the food had good flavor overall. We got fried calamari, fried catfish platter and blackened tilapia so I was pretty upset about getting 2 wedges of limes. If you know Mexicans we eat a lot of lime/lemon with fish….smh. The calamari was over cooked and super tough

My first time trying this place and I won’t be returning. I got a catfish nugget basket and a 2 fillet/ 3 shrimp basket, dirty rice and baked beans. The catfish nuggets were very small and looked more like chicken nuggets and they were fried too long because they were chewy/rubbery. The catfish fillets and shrimp were fried too hard. The shrimp had too much breading on them and the shrimp itself was hiding underneath it all very bland and tough. The dirty rice was very spicy and had a sweet taste that I couldn’t figure out. The baked beans tasted like they were poured straight from the can to the pot and warmed. The best part of this entire meal was the fries.

Good delicious! Customer service garbage. I called and placed my order I asked if they put the Cajun season on the fries she said no (with an attitude) the lady was talking so fast and was so in a rush to get off the phone I didn’t get the total clear. I got there I sat at the intercom and waited until she finally got on and she was rude didn’t even let me give her my name so when I got to the window she had someone else’s order and assumed it was mine. Maybe it was the location but if she felt that way she should’ve stayed home
