VERY IMPRESSED! First timers for breakfast this morning, cozy homey atmosphere (we loved the Valentines Day decorations,) great food and coffee. Haley was our server and was very friendly and attentive with great recommendations!
Good prices, everything was hot and fresh and quick to table despite the rush, and they had a lot of options as well! We will definitely be back!

Classic American breakfast food. I felt like I walked into a real old school diner. The servers were all smiles, peaches and cream. The food was solid, hearty, and delicious. Their real achievement is the pie. Oh. My. God. The pie. I didn’t know pie could taste like that. I started eating it and before I knew it, it was gone. My one complaint is that it was very crowded. If you want to avoid that many people, don’t go on a weekend morning. That seems to be when they’re busiest.

A fun old fashioned small town atmosphere without being corny or contrived. Many of the customers and service people have known each other for decades. But they welcome new customers like they were old friends. I’ve been all over the world, been to many restaurants. This is one of the friendliest.
Btw, coffee is some of the best tasting on the planet. And I’ve been everywhere on this planet.

My husband and I decided to dine at Mason’s, as we have many times before. We asked about the military discount and were told that it’s only offered when in uniform. This was surprising because every time we’ve dined there previously, we’ve always received the discount, so we wondered if the policy had changed.
Upon checkout, we asked again to confirm if the policy had changed, as we’ve always been given the discount in the past. The cashier, who has personally applied the discount for us before, looked us in the face and said they have never done that. We both knew this wasn’t true. I would have completely understood if the policy had changed, but being told that something that has consistently happened “never” happened felt dismissive and disrespectful.
As a military family, we’ve always appreciated businesses that honor service members — not just through discounts, but through honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling disheartened and discriminated against. As an African American couple, the way the situation was handled made us feel slighted and unwelcome.
Mason’s has been our favorite breakfast spot for a while, but after today, we’ve decided to find another place to dine. I hope management will review this situation and clarify the policy to ensure that all guests are treated with fairness, consistency, and respect.

Absolutely fabulous food. I usually add salt any place i go, but not here. They season their food. The fry on the chicken fried steak was perfection. Grits on point aswell as the biscuits. The apple pie was so flavorful. Hands down one of the best apple pies, al la mode style. I wanted to lick the plate but my wife wouldn’t let me.

Second visit here and was very happy both times. Simple , honest meal that was filling and delicious. It was biscuits and gravy for me and the wife got a B&G, sausage and potatoes. Food was hot and fast. Staff was very friendly. Great place
