had a reservation for a saturday night and i’m glad we did! highly recommend making a reservation.
food was spectacular, drinks were good, atmosphere was great. they had sports on one tv and hgtv on another so both of us were happy!
The server was spectacular, helpful with her recommendations, and checked on us the perfect amount.
It may be in a strip mall and it blows those expectations out of the water. feels like you’re eating at a very nice restaurant- it was too cold to dine outside in late fall but looks like they have a beautifully lit patio that we will be back for. thanks for a great date night!

What a gem to have nearby!

A great quality of this place is that because it’s not loud, you can comfortably talk to other people on the table. Some restaurants nowadays have become unappealing exactly because we have to shout to be heard.

They have artisan local beers and tonight we tried the Tupelo Honey Brown Ale from Bald Man. It was a very good one!

The chicken wild rice soup hit the perfect spot on a cold evening. It’s so yummy!

We also ordered Cesar salad with grilled shrimp and the sliders. Both also delicious.

A bonus of this restaurant is that attached to it is the Sebastian Joe’s counter and another with desserts like creme brûlée and macarons.

Our server, JJ, was sweet and attentive.

We will be back!

We were visiting the area and decided to give the restaurant a try and it didn’t disappoint. They have a nice fire place and space for large or small groups. The bar seemed like the place to be. We like upper scale food and I would say this wasn’t your typical bar food. We both got different versions of an old fashion and they were very tasty. The names of the beverages were super creative. We had the surf and turf and lamb chops with gnocchi. The scallops, steak and lamb were cooked perfectly and they were tender and full of flavor. The gnocchi were perfect little pillows. The creamy butter sauce over the gnocchi was fabulous and I could have drank it. The menu is huge with great variety but it does make it hard to choose. The staff was attentive and provided a good range of recommendations. We are already planning to come back!

I’ve heard good things and was not disappointed. The Dirty Bloody Mary was so dang good! We both loved our breakfast as well (forgot to take photos). Got a Dubai Chocolate Croissant to go for my daughter and wow, was that tasty! Also, free cupcake on your birthday so that was a nice way to finish our meal. Will be back!
Note: It was very busy at noon on Sunday. Reservation recommended.

I hosted my holiday party for Dr Brecke Counseling Group at Mason Jar last night. I reserved the chefs table in the back of the kitchen. It was beautifully decorated and intimate for the 14 of us. Alex, the manager was very responsive in his communication and was able to make accommodations when necessary. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend for your next private event.

The food was good. I had the Smoked Salmon Breakfast Stack. The flavors were on point, but…the au gratin potatoes were on the dry side and the top crust of the potatoes was hard and difficult to cut through. I also wish the toasted brioche was not so toasted…lightly toasted would have been better. Overall, it was great. I would love to come back for lunch or dinner.

I went for dinner and I haven’t had service this bad in a very long time. I went around 8pm, it wasn’t busy probably 6 tables. I came here alone.

I ordered fries and got the weekly which is like $35 for a full course meal, 2 virgin drinks= $16 each, added 3 jumbo shrimp =$8 and mushrooms were additional =78

The fries came out in minutes after ordering and they were cold. I sent them back for new ones and it was over Salted. I just said alright, I’m done there.

I ordered another drink and at the moment there was absolutely not even busy it took 7-9 minutes to get to me, at that point I didn’t even want the drink anymore because I was getting full. The waitress told me the bartender didn’t see the ticket.

My steak was done on point, the shrimp was not that great, it wasn’t seasoned. Soup was good but came out warm.

The waitress was not attentive when it wasn’t even busy.

For almost $80 for my price I wouldn’t eat here. I wouldn’t eat here even if someone paid me. Poor service and decent food, they should probably lower the prices if the service and management is this bad.

I get Eggs Benedict at almost every restaurant I go to if they serve it, and this was one of the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Hollandaise was perfect (the entire meal was). Not a huge salad person but the salad was wonderful too. My friend got the breakfast burrito and she loved it as well. I asked our server for some Tabasco and 15 seconds after, someone else came up to the table with Tabasco because they’d overheard. Wonderful service, amazing food, great atmosphere.

Mason Jar Kitchen & Bar is such a fun mix of cozy charm and elevated comfort food. The space feels warm and welcoming with little touches like mason jars, a fireplace, and playful wall art that make it feel unique. It’s modern but still has that homey vibe.

The food was hearty and flavorful. The skillet dish with cheesy layers, biscuit, and tater tots was pure comfort and so satisfying. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and addictive, paired with a tasty dipping sauce. And the dessert case! wow. Rows of cupcakes, macarons, and sweets that look as good as they taste, making it hard to leave without something sweet.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made it a great spot for casual conversation.

I love Mason Jar’s food so much! I tried the MN Favorites Sampler since I couldn’t decide on a dish this time. It was perfect and was the right amount of sample size on all three. I personally enjoyed the Twin Cities Poutine the most and would get that next time so I could have more of it now now!

Parking can de difficult depending on timing when you go. We always make a reservation – highly encouraged. They also serve Sebastian Joe’s ice cream and other desserts.
