food was spectacular, drinks were good, atmosphere was great. they had sports on one tv and hgtv on another so both of us were happy!
The server was spectacular, helpful with her recommendations, and checked on us the perfect amount.
It may be in a strip mall and it blows those expectations out of the water. feels like you’re eating at a very nice restaurant- it was too cold to dine outside in late fall but looks like they have a beautifully lit patio that we will be back for. thanks for a great date night!
A great quality of this place is that because it’s not loud, you can comfortably talk to other people on the table. Some restaurants nowadays have become unappealing exactly because we have to shout to be heard.
They have artisan local beers and tonight we tried the Tupelo Honey Brown Ale from Bald Man. It was a very good one!
The chicken wild rice soup hit the perfect spot on a cold evening. It’s so yummy!
We also ordered Cesar salad with grilled shrimp and the sliders. Both also delicious.
A bonus of this restaurant is that attached to it is the Sebastian Joe’s counter and another with desserts like creme brûlée and macarons.
Our server, JJ, was sweet and attentive.
We will be back!
Note: It was very busy at noon on Sunday. Reservation recommended.
I ordered fries and got the weekly which is like $35 for a full course meal, 2 virgin drinks= $16 each, added 3 jumbo shrimp =$8 and mushrooms were additional =78
The fries came out in minutes after ordering and they were cold. I sent them back for new ones and it was over Salted. I just said alright, I’m done there.
I ordered another drink and at the moment there was absolutely not even busy it took 7-9 minutes to get to me, at that point I didn’t even want the drink anymore because I was getting full. The waitress told me the bartender didn’t see the ticket.
My steak was done on point, the shrimp was not that great, it wasn’t seasoned. Soup was good but came out warm.
The waitress was not attentive when it wasn’t even busy.
For almost $80 for my price I wouldn’t eat here. I wouldn’t eat here even if someone paid me. Poor service and decent food, they should probably lower the prices if the service and management is this bad.
The food was hearty and flavorful. The skillet dish with cheesy layers, biscuit, and tater tots was pure comfort and so satisfying. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and addictive, paired with a tasty dipping sauce. And the dessert case! wow. Rows of cupcakes, macarons, and sweets that look as good as they taste, making it hard to leave without something sweet.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made it a great spot for casual conversation.
Parking can de difficult depending on timing when you go. We always make a reservation – highly encouraged. They also serve Sebastian Joe’s ice cream and other desserts.
