Phenomenal flavor! Ribs were the family favorite. Sweet BBQ sauce made them. Pulled pork outstanding as well. Choice of shells (tortillas) or buns. Mac&Cheese also delicious. Baked beans were mild and unique consistency.

The food is absolutely amazing here – very worth my 20 mile drive. Great flavor. I love the major jar parfait, I get it deconstructed so it’s a little easier to eat. The pulled pork is juicy & tender, the beans are perfect, the slaw is one of the best out there & the mac & cheese is ideal. My husband is a big fan of their tacos. Owner & staff are really nice! I crave this place all the time, it is so good. I only wish that they were open a little later, it’s hard to get there before they close at 7.

If you are ever out this way, you have to try the Mason Jar BBQ. This is hands down some of the best food in the state. Not to mention that it’s always quick, fresh and affordable. The BBQ Parfaits are fantastic, and super creative. The mac and cheese is unique thanks to the secret ingredient (Cheez It). And both the house made cole slaws are killer.

This was the best lunch I’ve had in a while.
Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Cole Slaw on top!
This place should be on food network.

Great small town spot, with something for everybody! Be sure to check it out, there are dairy free “Mason jar” options!

Stopped in for take out. This is a food truck with outdoor seating. We got the pulled pork sandwich and the pork tacos. The service was friendly and fast. The pork had a nice smoke flavor. I liked the baked beans on the side. The Mac & Cheese was not my favorite. The tacos were tasty topped with slaw.
The meal was a bit pricey, but not out of line these days I suppose. I would eat there again and try more of the menu.

Great service. Able to modify for our children. Got chicken tacos, beans, potato salad, Mac and cheese, burnt ends, mason jar parfait, and chips and cheese for the kids. So happy we found a place that doesn’t put bell peppers in everything! Burnt ends were perfect. Sauces were great. Tacos had a lot of meat. Kids liked the mac and cheese. Husband puts his stamp of approval, who is very picky about BBQ joints. We’d eat here again and definitely recommend trying it out!

Went here after being disappointed constantly with Lucky’s. The food is amazing and customer service is that of what you see in southern hospitality. Closest thing to Southern BBQ without going there. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Ribs were amazing with and without the sauce, burnt tips and brisket were out of this world. Tender and delicious. Absolutely recommend this place over others in the area.

Best brisket in Michigan! Stopped here for lunch today and very glad I did! Super clean place, very reasonable prices and amazing food all around. Went with the brisket sammy with mac & cheese and cornbread. Everything was cooked to perfection using real quality ingredients, and they dont skimp on the good stuff either! Can really tell they take pride in what they do

I had high hopes that this would be really good BBQ. Sadly, it was not. The service is great and we ordered by phone off their website menu. Some inconsistencies between the menu (online) and what you actually get. I tried to get the brisket but they were out (at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon – poor planning) so I had the pulled pork with sides of cole slaw and baked beans. The portions were pretty small for the price and honestly, it was just very, very pedestrian average. I think I could have done better with a crock pot and some Sweet Baby Ray’s. Sorry but this is just my opinion and you should try it for yourself but I’d set your expectations on the low side. They are very friendly and clearly care about the customer experience. The place looks very clean and they’re always busy when I drive by so I must be in the minority.
