Reviews
Tofu soup and seafood pancake were fairly decent. Side dishes were little sparse and simple. Don’t bother with the ramen. It’s your usual $1-2 instant ramen dressed up a bit with some toppings and sold for $11.
All in all, it’s a fair place for quick Korean bite in the neighborhood.
The food was amazing — honestly, the best bulgogi I’ve ever had. Perfect flavor and cooked to perfection. I was going to take a picture, but we started eating way too fast .
Definitely coming back!
On our first visit, we ordered the beef tofu soup combo with short ribs, bulgogi plate, and the chicken jeon (Korean pancake). Portions are plentiful and flavors were great. We also got the Korean ice cream, which is a fish shaped biscuit with strawberry syrup and vanilla ice cream.
Service was great – understanding this is a new business, I’m sure there’s a lot to work through but all employees were pleasant and responsive.
I will become a regular here, I’m excited for the improvements and new menu items to come!
Interior is small and cozy with tables and booth benches available for seating. Service was friendly but very, very slow. They only had 4 types of banchan (small sides for sharing, included with your meals) – most places give you more, so I was sad about their small selection.
We ordered their bibimbap – we got it spicy but it was very mild. Also surprised to see no gojujang sauce available on the table. Their bibimbap is not traditional and did NOT look like the picture on their menu – they use kimchi, lettuce, and egg roe with your choice of protein but no raw chicken egg or traditional sauteed vegetables like spinach, carrots, or bean sprouts. Their stone pot was also not hot at all… Flavors were good, but definitely different.
Overall, would rate 4/5 for food and 3/5 for service. Pricing is reasonable and we’ll likely come back again. Hope the service is faster and they serve more banchan next time.
Lactose intolerant? They put butter in their bibimbap so request to omit that!
