I will certainly eat there again if I am in the area.
I wish we would have kept going and found somewhere else.
Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, and my friend ordered Sushi. Well the SS chicken had no flavor, the sauce was some yellow looking stuff that came in a cup but it didn’t have any flavor either. No vegetables except a little cabbage in the corner of the box. I didn’t even finish my food. I ate the rice and threw the rest away.
My friend said the sushi was not rolled well, when she picked it up it completely fell apart. She also said it had no flavor. She got soy sauce and poured on it to give it something. She said the seeweed was rubbery also.
Only good thing was egg rolls that probably were pre-made not made here. Just my guess.
Longer: I’ve never been to this place until today. I called and ordered the chicken teriyaki (shown on the menu as coming with rice AND salad) and beef yakisoba (shown as not coming with either rice or salad). When I got in, things went well and smoothly. I grabbed the bag, drove to have lunch with my wife at the hospital, and when I got there and opened the chicken teriyaki it was as pictured; no salad. I called and asked if their menu changed and I saw an old on online and the girl who answered, the same one running the cash register, said that the kitchen staff didn’t make any salad yet today but that they’re making it now. I understand that places can be short staffed. That isn’t a big deal to me and I totally understand. When I asked why I was charged full price if I wasn’t getting the meal that was advertised on the menu she said “well the salad doesn’t change the price.” Strange. I responded, “I ordered the teriyaki in part because I wanted the salad. And if you knew there was no salad, why didn’t you say something? Or at least charge me less? Now I’ve already driven away and my wife’s lunch break is already part way over, I can’t drive back across town to return it or to get salad (if it was even going to be ready then?). And she said “well I don’t know what you want me to do.” I said “all you had to do was let me know that the salad was missing, just a little courtesy would have been appreciated.” And she starts laughing and sarcastically says “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.” And hangs up.
I don’t plan to go back. A simple “oh sorry that should have been in there” would be more than sufficient but was beyond her capabilities apparently.
Salad was thrown in with rest of meal. So it was soggy. Cabbage looked like it was 7 days old. Tasted like that way too. Hardly any chicken in the yakisoba meal. Asked for extra sauce. No sauce given.
Maybe if the front people would stop flirting they might have remembered it.
