Firstly, I have to say that I was impressed by the attitude of the employees. They were really nice and polite. One of them was coming in for his shift and as we approached the front door at the same time, he held the door open for me. Another guy, as he gave me my takeout order, asked if I wanted more Mash Sauce. I said, sure. He apologized, which he didn’t have to. Everyone was all smiles. I’ll return just for the service!
The atmosphere is cool too. Walls with hand-painted graffiti, arcade games, lots of utensils and ketchup packets up front. You can order at the register, or if you’re an introvert like me, at the tablets.
We ordered the following to take out and ate at the Montclair Brewery (another fine establishment):
– Mash Burger – sauteed onions, cheese, pickles and mash sauce
– Spicy Mash – sauteed onions, pepper jack cheese, hot honey, jalapenos, mash sauce
– Cajun fries
– Onion rings (the thick kind – I love those)
Everything was delicious. I’m coming back for their Hot Chicken Sandwich and a churro!

Very deserving 5 stars. Burger and Mac were top tier prob one of the best smash burgers I ever had. The two guys at the counter were really great had smiles on their faces and actually promoted the place as if it was their own. I will be back !

It was just really nostalgia because back in the day we we did mostly read it and blue like rainbow stuff. But now it’s just white scaled and we got the meal for four dollars. But The fries were really amazing and good. The fries were so good they were saved So we’re really hard. We’re really happy. Really happy about this one, so yeah, and it gives good nostalgia feel

We went to Mashed Burgers last night and everything was delicious! The burgers, yes, they are mashed or smashed, had a delicious sauce and pickles and onions on them. Them. I got a single patty and it seemed to be enough for me.
The fries! Oh my! The fries are delicious. I think they’re breaded somehow. I we didn’t get them with stuff on them but they stand on their own.
I will definitely be coming back to mashed burgers as there are other things on the menu that I would love to try. For example, they have Mac Loaded Chicken (see menu) that sounds great.
They also have ice cream and dessert options as well as two retro video games in the corner.

Fantastic smash burger at a great price. I got the spicy smash. I also got a churro which was great, though a little dry.
Amazing interior design too. Really makes you want to sit down and eat.

The smashed burger was delicious. They are super smashed flat but has great flavor. The pink house sauce they serve is mid, it was broken, and needs mor flavor. The Cajun fries, although frozen, were seasoned well.

Horrible. Meat is 2mm thick, the onions were thicker. Only these thin sheets of “meat” onions and bread? Two slices of pickle for a whole burguer? They didnt cover 1/6 of the “burguer” flavorless, really the worst “burguers” i had in my entire life. 45+ years.

We ordered and waited….and waited…and still waited… I do not mind waiting but it was an usually long time for a burger and two orders of fries? Someone eventually asked us what order we were and then they looked surprised to hear the number?
We finally recieved the order 45 minutes later (we ordered around 9pm) and when opening it. All the food was ice cold. The milkshake was fully melted. The churro tasted atleast a day old and hard and cold. Burger was ice cold and fries were hard as a rock.
My partner and I have been to several locations before and this was very disappointing. Even more so with how long we waited and the emptiness of the place, the 4 workers were just drinking cokes and chatting. Not once addressing us.
I saw our bag I believe sitting there the whole time and am not sure what even took so long?
Very disappointed and hoping the place will get better with time as it’s the closest location like it near us.

-1 Star because the prices are ridiculously gouged on UberEats (BEFORE the UberEats fees same order costed about $60 almost $70 AFTER the fees). I just personally find that extremely unethical.
*PRICES ARE STILL PRETTY HIGH IN STORE AS WELL DEPENDING ON THE BURGER — ADD ONS ARE EXTRA + NOT MANY OPTIONS
