We ordered gyros to go and when we got home and opened the bag, were very disappointed. First of all, they’re small. There was hardly any meat in our gyros, literally two strips of meat wide down the whole thing. The meat itself was also not very flavorful. There was hardly any tzatziki or feta either.
Overall not a filling lunch, which sucks because we LOVE gyros and were very happy to have a Mediterranean restaurant in town.

We decided to stop in for the first time after reading some reviews and we were not disappointed. The food and service were both fantastic. Our server was very personable and helpful. The food was sooo good. The hummus was incredible, my husband really liked it and he doesn’t usually like hummus. He had the beef shawarma and loved all the flavor and I had the vegetable sampler and was so glad to try all the different veggie items and they were all so very good. We tried the cream and the walnut baklavas and both were quite the treat. We will be back!

Came here for our wedding anniversary date. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had the Mashawi plate for 2. Oh my goodness the food was wonderful!! It came with a salad, hummus, fresh pitas, and a large tray of meats and rice and dipping sauces. Amazing flavors and the meats were flavorful and tender. We also indulged in dessert of Namura and pistachio baklava. We had to roll out of there. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

Lovely little restaurant. Staff was very friendly. The meat was pretty good. Rice was fantastic. Fresh mango juice was delicious! The fattoush could use some more dressing, lemon, salt, etc.

It was my first time passing through castle rock and was looking for a middle eastern cuisine spot. Was able to find Mashawi Damascus and it was an experience of a lifetime. The atmosphere was really nice and well decorated. I’ve never tasted such amazing food before and their portions sizes were very good. I got the spinach pie and the meat combo platter, and I can definitely say those dishes were prepared very well. They definitely will be getting another visit from me!

This place is a gem, great food and super friendly staff! Let’s be real – there’s not a lot of great food to be found in castle rock but this place stands out among the rest. Wife and I got the hummus to start, she had the chicken shawarma sandwich and I had the Kafka sandwich, and everything was amazing. 10/10 will be back to try more!

Really great food and service. Brought kids for lunch so they can experience the food. They both loved it too. We had the dips sampler which were good size servings of 5 different dips, lots of pita bread to use too. One kid got the chicken sandwich and was so much took half home, other kid had the meat combo with 3 types of meat, he like the chicken and beef best but the lamb was ok for him just not “his fav”. I had the lentil soup and it was awesome. Very filling too. We tried one of each of the desserts too and they were a very nice ending to a great meal.
