First time dine in this African Restaurant. We ordered Lamb/Goat stew, Whole Fried Fish, Fried Sweet Potatoes, Fried Plantain. The food made after ordered. To my surprise, they all are so good! Flavorful, fresh, but not overbearing or too strong. We all like them!

Pros: Food was all hot.
Cons: Flavor was bland, lamb was fatty with gristle, soup was greasy, customer service was not the best, and the kitchen was out of product.

This food was delicious. Stopped here while driving back to Chicago from Nashville. Had the egusi soup & Goat stew and they we’re both very tasty dishes. They also gave healthy portions. Additionally I had to have the fried plantains which were also very good.

Can’t rate the dine in experience yet since we got delivery. The food was delicious! We got Peri Peri chicken, and the goat stew with chakery for dessert and jollof rice sides. The rice was excellent, the best I’ve had and I loved the chicken. It was a little bit too spicy for my husband but he’s got to deal imo. He survived and so will you, the chakery was a great palate cooler! Will definitely be getting food from them again.

Delicious , EXCELLENT & AUTHENTIC ! Call ahead to order ! But service is always great and the food is to die for. I love the large portions I feel like i’m home in Africa. I recommend the peri peri chicken with jollof rice and egusi/fufu it lasts me 2 -3 days. I will always come here !

I’ve eaten the food from this restaurant a few times. The taste is consistently delicious. I have a particular fondness for the oxtails and the jollof rice. The plantains are great, too. I wish they’d serve more vegetable sides – I’ve only seen the fried okra, but I’ve yet to try them. By all means, please check this place out!

Omg!!! The food was amazing, very well seasoned and hot. I had the grilled lamb and fries. The fries were hot and crisp. There were onions on both sides of my lamb. They were both delicious, but one tasted like mustard and it was fantastic. I need that recipe.
My only issue was the language barrier. I would recommend having menus with an explanation of each dish.
When I asked about one of the dishes, the guy began reading the board. I tried to explain that I wanted to know what was in it, but he still didn’t get it.

Don’t let the outside fool you!!! From the first bite I couldn’t stop telling my husband how amazing the food was! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked so tenderly! I had the lamb special and my husband had the grilled lamb. Both were fantastic! The service was wonderful and did I mention the food??? It was delicious!!! Try the coconut milk drink! With four flavors, you’re sure to find one you will enjoy! The portions were so generous, my husband and I could have shared a meal! The prices were so low for the amount of food they served! Don’t miss out on trying this restaurant! You won’t regret it!

What a fantastic experience and delicious food! I haven’t had food like this since my time in Ghana. Very authentic, great atmosphere, extremely kind staff. If you’ve never had African food before, not to worry, because they will help you order something you will love. I loved the goat stew with fufu, the jollof rice, and the BEST fried plantains!
