Tried Masaman Thai Kitchen and really enjoyed most of the meal. The chicken satay was tender, and the warm peanut sauce was rich and tasty. Pot stickers were good too, especially with the coconut-based dip, though I wish they had more filling.
The egg rolls were a letdown, bland and not much going on. I’d skip them.
The masaman curry was the best part. Great flavor, perfect consistency, and something I’d definitely come back for. Overall, a solid spot with a few hits and one clear miss. Worth visiting for the curry alone.

They have amazing flavor in their dishes!
We tried the Pad Thai, the Pot Stickers and the hot and sour soup (Tom Yum). Everything was delicious! I’ve found my new favorite Thai restaurant in Alabama. Now the hunt continues as Surin West disappointed us last time with rice all over the bottoms of our appetizer plates they brought to our table not to mention we waited about 15 minutes and never saw a waiter or waitress ♀️ second time that happened and this Masaman Thai restaurant didn’t disappoint!
The service is order and seat yourself. Don’t expect fancy atmosphere but definitely get your Thai here to go if you’re busy.

Great new find. I had been craving Thai food for quite some time and wanted to try a new place. The restaurant is quite small; I was not expecting the right seating arrangement. Due to the close proximity of others, I wish they had music playing because the restaurant is very quiet so you can be all up in others conversations. You go to the counter and order and pay for your food. Get your own drink so no one is really waiting on you. I kind of liked that though.

The Pad Mee with Beef was very flavorful. The amount served was just right for lunch. Business at noon was steady. The restaurant atmosphere was OK. Service was pleasant and prompt. I will try this restaurant again.

Wow! The food is very tasty and inexpensive. We eat at every Thai restaurant we can, and this is probably the best food. We had the lunch special that comes with coconut lemongrass soup. The food came quickly. The only thing I’d change is to turn off the TV and play soothing or Eastern music.

I got takeout last night. Ordered masaman chicken, pad thai, and coconut soup. Let me preface this by saying that I love this place and drove nearly 40 minutes just to pickup, and it breaks my heart to leave this review…. but $50 to have hair in both dishes is too much.
There was a hair in the masaman chicken. We tried to ignore it and continue the meal but it was too much. I was upset but what made me decide to leave a review was the fact that this morning i was going to heat up the pad Thai AND THERE WAS A HAIR IN IT TOO!!! I know accidents happen but both dishes having hair???? I am so sad.
