if he really cares, he should not have 3.9 review and should be working to improving the quality and calling to find out how he can do better for next time instead of threatening their customers for the review this is a free country and everybody have a right to express when somebody spending close to $80 and here is my review. Very disappointing experience overall. The food quality did not meet expectations—several dishes were bland, overly tasteless and lacked the authentic flavor you would expect from this type of cuisine. Presentation was average at best, and the taste did not justify the price.
Service was average , even though the restaurant was not very busy at the time. Staff appeared inattentive to the request. I have regarding some sauce and they end up overcharging, but then refunded it, and they even want to charge for a small sauce.
Cleanliness was also a concern, making the dining experience uncomfortable, the table were not wiped properly Considering the cost, the quality of food, service, and overall atmosphere fell far below expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Masala Walk and will not be returning.
The staff was friendly at the counter, and we told them that it was our first time dining in their restaurant and that we might have a few questions. The gentleman was nice, and he answered all our questions and explained all the different options.
We’ve been to many different Indian restaurants, and we know a good chicken biryani when we taste one. The biryani had nice flavor and spices, the chicken was tender, and the sauces added an extra touch of flavor for the entrée.
We also ordered the Mongolian chicken with vegetables and Jasmine Rice. The meat had a good, rich flavor, and the vegetables still had a nice crunch to them and weren’t soggy or overcooked.
We came here not really knowing what to expect, but we left pleasantly surprised and happy. We hope other new patrons can experience the same great food and service we’ve experienced. We wish Masala Wok the best and hope future customer reviews will take them over the 4 start ratings. We’ll be back soon!
For starters we got the 2 soups- Manchau and Hot & Sour and an order of samosas. For the main course- Paneer 65 and chicken 65 wraps. We also got a kids meal (chicken tikka with rice). The soups were okay. Samosas were just okay too. The wraps were better taste wise and portion. My kid’s meal was a ton of basmati rice, with 4 little pieces of tandoori chicken on a skewer and some tandoori sauce on the side. Not enough chicken or sauce for the portion of rice. It was good to try out the place. We may come back to perhaps try out some of the Asian dishes. Service was quick and the place was fairly large and clean.
The chicken tikka plate was too bland… and the chicken pizza wasn’t even a pizza. It wasn’t holding up its shape, and every time we took a slice out, it would become soggy, and all the toppings would fall out. It’s actually made on a very thin naan. It’s not a good option.
Bot going back for a while .
