We had the pleasure of having Masala Route Food Truck cater our wedding for cocktail hour through dessert. They completely exceeded every expectation!

Cocktail hour was a huge hit with perfectly crispy samosas and incredible dabeli that guests were raving about before dinner even began!

Dinner was just as impressive, featuring Veg Manchurian and Chicken Pakora for appetizers and Paneer Tikka Masala and Chicken Dum Biryani for dinner. Everything was beautifully prepared, full of authentic flavor, and served seamlessly to a large crowd.

The Rasmalai cups were the perfect ending! This dessert was such a unique and elegant touch, beautifully finished with delicate rose petals that made them feel extra special.

Beyond the food, the team at Masala Route Food Truck was professional, warm, and organized, making the entire experience stress free. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was! If you’re looking for outstanding food, flawless execution, and an unforgettable experience, Masala Route Food Truck is an absolute must. We would recommend them again and again!

I tried Punugulu, Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, and the Indo-Chinese combo from Masala Route, and everything was really good. The food has proper Indian taste and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been here multiple times now and I’m honestly a fan of this food truck. My favorite has to be the Pav Bhaji—so good every time.

Millie and Krishna are super sweet and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend if you’re craving Indian street food!

Great little food truck. Gave me India street food vibes. We got the paneer frankie, indo Chinese combo, masala chai and saffron lemonade. Both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the frankie! The service was wonderful. They brought it out to our car. We will be back to try other things on the menu next time.

5 stars for Masala Route! The Vada Pav and Bhel are easily some of the best in the area, perfectly seasoned and authentic. The Masala Chai is a must-have, especially in this cold weather. The owner is incredibly kind and generous; she even came out in the cold just to see how we liked the food. Excellent service and even better food. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this Indian food truck! Everything on the menu tastes amazing, but the punugulu is the star – crispy, fluffy, and full of authentic flavor. The staff are warm, welcoming, and super friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving delicious Indian food!

Delicious food. Fantastic service.

We tried Chinese combo, Mirchi bhajji, Vada pav and Paneer Frankie.

Chinese combo was great, tasting like Indian street food Chinese stall.
Vada pav was fresh made, pav was just like mumbai pav.
Mirchi bhajji was super spicy(even for Indian)
Frankie was good.

The service is excellent. They were happy to serve food in a car since it takes a little time to make order fresh.

If you want to taste authentic street style Indian food, this is a must-go! It is hands down the best Indian food I have had in Michigan in a very long time. I had Vada Pav, Indo-Chinese gobi manchurian and hakka noodles combo, Paneer frankie. Vada Pav with the authentic red garlic chutney will transport you to Mumbai. The food is freshly made. The chef and the owners are extremely courteous and will take care of you as a family. Will come again. Highly recommend!

Nice to see a food truck in Troy, MI area.

My review on items that we tried.

Indo-Chinese Combo – Manchurian is really good but noodles aren’t that impressive.

Paneer Frankie – Must try item, we loved it.

Punugulu – I liked them but my wife was disappointed, she was expecting Vijayawada style but they are mysore bajji than punugulu.

Another must try item is their Saffron Lemonade, which is really good.

Note: Their menu changes weekly

Incredibly delicious Indian food! All the dishes we had were fantastic: Chole bhature, masala dosa (best dosa I’ve ever had), and chole poori. The chai was perfect. Plus it was a freezing cold evening, and they brought the food out to our car when it was ready, piping hot! We will definitely come again. Completely worth it!! They need to have a restaurant!
