The mango lassi is smooth, mango forward, and just slightly tart & sweet. Overall a great experience!
The Shahi Nalli Gosht Biryani was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with tender meat and aromatic spices that truly stood out. The Stuffed Mirchi Bajji was crispy on the outside, well-stuffed, and had the perfect balance of spice and taste.
The food quality, taste, and presentation were excellent. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and satisfying dishes, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended for food lovers—will surely visit again!
I’m here for 2 weeks and would eat here again and again, but I have a problem when the dish does not come with rice. I have never had Indian without rice. Why did it not come with rice? Great flavor, but no rice. How? 3 stars but would easily be 5 with rice!
The guy brought the chicken sizzler in 8 mins. But the laccha paratha took 25 minutes. So I took photo proof for all to see. The person seemed to ignore that I was interrupting him about the bread. That made me feel very unwelcome and that I had made a mistake coming to restaurant. The menu design is also very wrong, there is no combos or thali plate. It costs > $35 +tax to order 2 items and drink; It wants to give a vibe of upper class. I would NOT go there again even though the food was decent. I cannot believe people rated this 4.4. I packed up my food and left as I had somewhere else to be.
The biryani had a rich aroma and authentic flavor, and the nalli gosht was tender and well seasoned. The Stuffed Mirchi Bajji was perfectly fried and very tasty.
Service was good, and the overall experience was satisfying. I would definitely visit again.
The pulavs are decent too, but the chicken feels like it’s coated with flour, not the fry piece style you get at Golkonda or Avachi biryani house.
Kothimeera paneer is excellent too.
Overall good quality authentic food, which is rare in bay area.
I am a true believer that you can really tell about the quality of an Indian restaurant by the texture of their naan. It was crispy and fluffy and didn’t turn into a piece of rubber after 10 minutes like most naan will do. Moses was my server and he made me feel right at home, making sure that everything I needed was right there when I needed it. Food came out very fast. I’ve already sent pictures to two of my good friends and can’t wait to get back to Masala Republic To try some more things on the menu. I may just have found my new favorite Indian restaurant. Great job guys, keep up the good work.
