Masala is a fantastic addition to Rexburg! It can be tough to find great vegetarian and vegan options in town, but Masala offers a wide variety of flavorful dishes that cater to many dietary needs, and everything tastes amazing. The lunch buffet is an especially great deal. Masala is a perfect choice for date night, family dinner, company meal, etc. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s been great to see more people stopping by this place over the past few months!

We LOVE this place. I typically get the number 5 spicy chicken curry, and boy is it amazing (be warned, my wife can barely smell it since it’s so spicy). The naan bread is worth getting anytime as well, it’s so good. I’ve spoken to the owner several times and he’s a very kind guy who clearly is passionate about his business. The serving sizes are the best around, and the amount of meat included is perfect. If someone visits me, this is where we go. We personally order take out more often then dine in, but both options have been positive experiences.

My husband and I had the chance to try Rexburg’s new Indian Restaurant. We were so impressed by the quality of food we tried tonight. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and learned that all of his spices are hand ground and all sauces made from scratch. No dyes or food colorings are used in the food. You can taste how fresh the food is. We will definitely be supporting this business. We highly recommend them!

I’m so impressed with this restaurant! The food was amazing! I had the paneer korma and it was perfection! They served a mango ranch for the salad and it was divine. You don’t taste the mango until the end. I loved it! I also tried their mango pudding. Oh MY GOODNESS!!!

Overall this is a nice Indian restaurant, especially for the smaller locations such as Rexburg. I definitely wasn’t unsatisfied and neither was my stomach. You get a good amount of food for the price you pay. The only changes I’d like is, I feel other locations give more naan bread but you still get a reasonable amount. I also felt the chicken was cooked well on the outside but lacked flavor inside so maybe more marinating and it’d be perfect. I got a level 4 spiciness and my roommate got a 3 and they felt theirs was too spicy and mine didn’t really have much at all so we’re hoping things didn’t get switched but it could have been the dishes since theirs had more sauce which could hold the spice more. But I think I’ll still up it to a 5 next time.

Upon crossing the threshold of this delightful eatery, my senses were inundated tenfold by the fragrant embrace of Indian gastronomy, beckoning me with promises of sumptuous sustenance. My dining partner and I were seated with commendable alacrity, thanks to the bustling ambiance of the restaurant rush—which, if I may add, awarded us the serendipitous fortune of complimentary libations and heavenly desserts alongside our main courses. With our thirst quenched by the crystalline clarity of agua and the ambrosial Strawberry Lassi, a concoction so delightful it could make a deity weep, we embarked upon our culinary journey. We summoned forth a duo of Patia—one lamb, one chicken—each morsel a veritable explosion of flavor, prancing exuberantly upon our tongues as if they were participants in a delightful ballet, leaving us ensorcelled by their rich, harmonious essence. And lo! The garlic naan, that divine cloud of bread, was a perfect accomplice to the mango ginger curry sauce, creating a symphony of taste that would make even Bach envious. Forsooth, dessert arrived in the form of gulab jamun, warm spheres of sugary bliss swathed in a drizzle of coconut, reminiscent of warm doughnut holes that made my heart sing. The entire dining escapade was an experience so enchanting that even the gods would have left heaven for a taste! The staff, particularly our enchanting server, Nancy, was an embodiment of kindness and attentiveness, diligently ensuring our cups runneth over, and every whim was catered to with utmost precision. Methinks it would be a travesty of monumental proportions not to return for another encounter with this extravagant feast. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment with a resounding 10 out of 10 stars, dear connoisseurs!

We have never in our 6 year here have been treated so poorly by a restaurant staff member. After being disappointed of having to do take out lunch in plastic containers, instead of a fancy dinner we had saved up for our wedding anniversary. We had hungry little kids and we didn’t want to spend our saved money or leave to another restaurant…We saw this wall of free meals and We asked if we could use some for our family since they had almost 10 meals available. Instead of just giving them to us, she (cashier) said she had to go check with her manager to see if they can give it to us. Who said we could only have one meal for our entire family. We said we would have one meal and share she said it wasn’t enough for everyone. So we ended up buying another meal from our own money. I asked why they couldn’t just give us two meals, and explained our situation. She said there is cheaper places to eat, people that come to eat here, don’t qualify for those meals. (Meaning us) we don’t want people taking advantage of this. How are we taking advantage? If the comunity pays for them not them. She had zero empathy for us, she basically made us feel humiliated begging for food. Lastly we said, you guys close at 2;30 for lunch time right? ( it was 2pm) and close after that..!? she said yes, so that should give you enough time to eat your food. 30

The food is pretty good but the prices are very high and on top of that, tip, a 4% credit card fee. IMO should be Included for how high the food is.
Also this is $23… it’s tiny. They are very inconsistent in their to go portions.

I freakin love Indian food! My wife and I were very impressed with the Goan Style curry chicken/shrimp for $26. We thought the flavor was incredible. We split one order which was enough for both of us. Amber was very kind and quick to serve us.
