I read the reviews and had to try it. I must say I loved my butter chicken. I got it hot and it had a nice medium burn. I love high heat so its probably perfect for most wanting hot. The flavor was amazing! I could tase the hot chilies and garlic. Its different than some Ive had but in a good way. My wife’s chana masala was also quite good but not my favorite. Im a meat guy and have only had chana masala a few times so Im no expert. The naan was so unique, a tad more dense than the more pita like kinds Ive had but its my new favorite. It’s rich and soft and has a great flavor, pull and mouth feel. The Dude Steven is legit as is his lovely smiley wife. He greated me with a huge smile and we chatted it up as I pondered the menu. He took my order, slapped on his apron and said 20 minutes, Ill bring it out to your car for you. In 15 he was tapping on my window. I thanked got out and reached out to shake his hand and got a nice hug instead. I love this joint and these people. This place is now a staple for us when in the Milewaukee area.

Steven and his wife are very personable and make the tastiest food. My husband is greeted with respect (and by name) every time he goes to pick up our order. The portions are perfect and the food is full of flavor. We love the Masala box and the people who run it 🙂

I don’t come here often, but the guy who owns the place always treats me like I am family. Masala Box sincerely provides the best customer service I have ever received. Perhaps I’ve never been here while they are swamped, but it means the world that the owner is always so friendly and hospitable towards my friends and I. The portions are generous and the food is filling. Can’t recommend it enough, Masala Box is maybe one of the best spots in the neighborhood.

Two stars because the guy working was kind and appreciate of the business but this was so bad. Had the chana masala, butter chicken and naan. A very small menu, no where to sit as they do carryout only. Medium was not at all spicy and the pictured naan was garlic cilantro and what was served was plain although good but not great. This was actually gross. Never again.

I’ve been going to the Masala Box for a year now with my wife and every time it’s been so great. The food is really delicious and has good portions for the price. The owners are also some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They always make you feel like family when you come in. I highly recommend the Masala Box for anyone looking for high quality Indian food at a good price and a great local business with a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing restaurant the owner is incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, I got the Chicken Diced Masala with Basmati and it was delicious. I also got the madras coffee which was really good but does run pretty sweet. Overall great experience. One thing to take into account is that they are only doing take out at the moment, but you can call ahead, and he will have it ready by the time you get there.

Steven was very kind and accommodated my girlfriend and I with plates and silverware and a suggestion of a local park to relax and eat at. The butter chicken was some of the best we have had, great rice and unique/savory Naan. Food was done in 15 mins. 11/10 recommend.
