Wonderful hospitality.
The food comes in big portions.
The quality of the food is superb, reminds you of abuela. Wonderful location way better than the Jack in the box that took that space before. Great value as well. It was my daughter and myself. She ordered a tostada and I had two al pastor tacos. It came to only $16!
My daughter turned me on to it. Now I’m hooked! I’ll definitely be back.

Honestly the worst costumer service, the girl was all lashes and brows but failed to clean the tables. More than anything everything was overpriced and sloppy service. I’m disappointed that I spent over 30 dollars on 2 tacos and 2 tamales. And that she felt disrespected by asking her to clean the dirty table. She gave me 2 carrots on my plate and was very rude. I’m shocked personally because I have never experienced this kind of treatment in a Mexican restaurant before. Especially at the price.

Nice little taqueria at the street corner with drive through. The tamales are the star of the show.
We tried burrito, taco and a tamale. The burrito had too much rice and beans compared to meat which in the end made it bland. The tamales are absolutely delicious.
Service wasn’t great because they missed an item (guac) from my order, even though I tried to double check with the server.

Great quick place for quality Mexican food. Tamales are also very good. Tacos and burritos are good size.

Been here several times. Drive thru service is SUPER SLOWWWW but especially slow today..which is really disappointing bc they didn’t even make my usual order of fish tacos right .they had ran out of avocado and then told me after the fact that I ordered it while sitting there for about 10 minutes idly in my car in the hot sun while they made food for customers that came in after me. You would think that would be something they would find out before I drive up to the window and wait. So then they offered to put guacamole on it instead and I said yes but I get home and there’s not even any guacamole on it. They also didn’t add the usual jalapenos or carrots that they usually add to it and it seems like the fish was smaller than usual and they made it in a hurry even though they took a super long time this time. I got it yesterday and maybe I was just super hungry but it was delicious yesterday and today it was incredibly disappointing and I had paid more today too because I bought some other things too for other people go figure how ironic when I pay more than it’s more terrible and the service was extremely slow. Disappointing. I’m going to overlook this experience and hope that it’s a fluke as I’ve been there many times before and have always enjoyed their fish tacos but this was especially bad because not only was the drive-through service slow as heck and the workers seemed rushed and incompetent and nervous today but it was also not up to its usual standards. Maybe I’ll go back there and see if I can get them to remake it or give me a refund and then I’ll decide how I feel about this review and experience.

It was Mid, I had the quesabirria it came with 3 tacos and I got the consome. The meat to cheese ratio was not a good balance it was entirely too much cheese. The food came out hot. The consome was good I wish it was more in the serving cup tho It was a bit pricey they charge $4 for a small dipping cup of guacamole.

As a reference point, I typically eat tacos and tamales On restaurants and trucks along San Pablo Ave, so I’m comparing against direct competitors.
SERVICE AND PRICE:
My first gripe is that the combination plate is $13.19 – while including just two tamales. If I bought just the tamales, it would be $6, so where did the other $7.19 go? Well clearly into the owner’s pocket because it looks like I got just a clump of rice and beans, with strips of chipotle salad. The guac and sour cream? Nowhere to be found. [-2 STARS]
FOOD:
So the taco is $3.5, which is effectively $4 after tax. Compared to taco trucks in the area, this is 33% more, for a soft taco where the tortilla is falling apart, and they don’t even double tortilla! It was also soggy by the time I ate it, which was just… 3 minutes after my order. Flavor wise, it’s passable.
The tamales on the other hand simply tasted like frozen, and reheated. If I wanted this, I could simply go to Costco and reheat my own – AND it would taste better!

I’ve eaten here twice. I ordered the tamale plate. My grands ordered burritos. The kids enjoyed their food. But my food was extremely dry and tasteless. The staff is wonderful but the food was not good at all. I will not be back.

Amazing flavor and quality masa! You can tell they put a lot of love into their food and you can taste it! I ate the beef and chicken tamale plate and the portion was perfect. I highly recommend eating here.
