So disappointed by this place. Had such high hopes. Miso soup tasted really off and had this weird cloud in it. The spring rolls were very greasy with minimal filling and soaking with grease on the bottom. My “salad” was literally just lettuce in a container. And our chicken hibachi was SO bland and the chicken was SO dry. We had to doctor it up at home and even then could only finish about half before it was just no longer edible. $55 for this by the way .

Found Masa on Yelp while I was on this side of town. I was craving sushi and this was the closest location. When I walked in I was the only patron during the lunch hour, which was a little concerning at first. However, as I sat down and scanned the menu, I realized how many pickup orders they were pumping out! So many!
I was greeted and brought water and soy sauce. They have QR on the table so I was able to order on my phone. The app came out first pretty quickly and followed by the roll soon after, but enough time to finish one before the other showed up.
I started with the Yellowtail Jalapeno and it was delicious. Fish was fresh, the cucumber and jalapenos were fresh and the jalapeno had a nice heat to them. Definitely enough to split for an app! I also got the Tiger Roll and it was so good! I don’t think I have had one like this before! Loved the crunch and the fish on top. Sauce was good, too. I like mine spicier but it was fine for a one pepper designation. My bill came quickly and I was in and out in under 30 minutes.
The restaurant was clean, lots of tables, and spacious.
I would definitely come back! Esp if you can be in and out for lunch in under 30 – no need to get take out then.

Came here the last time I was visiting family in GR. Don’t remember the name of the ramen that I got, but I remember it being really good. My siblings and I also shared some sushi as an appetizer. All in all, a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend any specific dishes as I forgot to review this place right after coming here a couple months ago.

My husband and I tried Masa Sushi because we love sushi and just moved up the road, and they make the move more worth it. The sushi was excellent. (We’ve lived in multiple costal states and have a lot of U.S. sushi experience) We’ve tried multiple spots in the area and this is a top contender. The food was great, the variety of options wonderful, the clean and modern interior very nice, and the staff friendly. We will certainly be back, and recommend you give them a shot if you haven’t already.

Been going here for a couple years and realized I didn’t leave a review yet, this place never disappoints! I love the Karaka ramen & sushi. Today’s meal made me so happy. Also love how chill the atmosphere is. Love that you can order online as well!

I don’t understand all the positive reviews. I spent $60 on poor quality food. We were given tap water and I’m pretty sure that is what they used for our ramen. Ramen was flavorless and absolute trash. Beef and chicken were rubber. I could have put something together at home with higher quality. Worse meal I’ve had in any West Michigan restaurant. Staff was nice and helped when needed but will never return for the food.

Delicious sushi, salad was amazing. My son devoured 2 soups (they accidentally gave us a soup instead of salad and immediately replaced it without even asking) lunch prices are hard to beat we shared 2 lunch orders and we’re in need of a nap. Highly recommend!

Place has some great sushi! We went with the eel and cucumber roll and Philadelphia roll, Godzilla roll, and masa roll… favorite was the masa roll, but all the rolls were fantastic. We also went with the Gyoza dumplings that were really nice as well. Had that nice crisp on the bottom that you want. Left stuffed and some leftovers for 2 people. Will return if I am in the area. Fair prices and good size rolls.

We took my father in-law to lunch and the place was very disability accessible. We were able to have him still stayed in his compact wheelchair at our table. Friendly staff and there wasn’t much of a wait. We ordered steak and salmon hibachi, champion& Karaka ramen (karaka has pork belly), and sunrise roll. Everything was fresh!

Food is another story. Calamari was too greasy and there was barely any squid inside the fried breading. Miso soup was really cloudy and our Ramen noodles were just not tasty. My daughter did not like the over cooked shrimp in her ramen. They were chewy and hard to bite. This was the same with my champion Ramen as well. We appreciate their kind service but food was not impressive. My husband did not enjoying his pink lady sushi because it was too mushy. Will not be returning.
