It was AWESOME and AMAZING at Sushi!!
I am a big fan of Japanese food. First things first get the crab tempura appetizer. Absolute must Then dive straight into the sushi menu so fresh so perfect every single roll is a winner ✨ Don’t skip the sashimi either it’s melt in your mouth good.
And for dessert Mochi ice cream and matcha ice cream combo is happiness unlocked !!! Dont forget it! Deserts here? non negotiable.!!
Oh and if you walk out of here without trying the yakisoba big mistake as well!
Honestly this place deserves 100 stars out of 5 Strong recommend!!

The cuisine was amazing!! The fish was so fresh and it seems like it is well seasoned! And clerks are so kind. They checked what I needed frequently! There are so many photos which make me feel they are so friendly to customers! Please remember that Masa sushi is the best!

They are always incredible! The soup and salad that come with your dinner is definitely a huge bonus. They make their eel sauce in house and it’s the best I have ever found. Been coming here for years and even now that I live in another state I make it a stop every time I’m in town.

This place used to be amazing. Been going here for years. But the last 5 times the service is just bad. Right when I get in I order Calamari and I tell them I want it as an appetizer. Every time it comes out after the rolls or with the rolls. Even though I tell them Everytime please do it as an appetizer. Today said the same thing. My wife order teriyaki chicken. She had to eat by herself bc they brought that out before the rolls and before the appitzer. They don’t listen at all. They lost a long time customer today.

We ordered several items and they were all bad. For sushi we got the dragon roll and the crunch roll (2 of both). The “crunch” on both of them was stale, the crunch roll was so bad we couldn’t eat it. The dragon roll was slightly better (ie it had more flavor) but again the crunch on it was stale. Both had tempura shrimp and which wasn’t good. We also got the avocado salad but it had soggy lettuce in it (think rotting). And finally we got gyoza, which was cold (colder than room temp) and had the texture like it was cooked earlier in the day. Spent almost $80 only to throw it all in the trash. How this place has such a high rating is beyond me. We won’t be back.

Honestly the food is awful. I came here a few years ago and hated it. I decided to try it again and I regret it. They are so nice there but this sushi is not real sushi. Every roll has cheese in it! Yup you heard me right. C.H.E.E.S.E. From melted cheese on top to cream cheese inside. I accidentally ordered a baked roll with cheese and it was not great. If you like cheese like that you might like it. I got a raw roll (one of the very few without cream cheese) and it tasted so off I had to return it. Everything had kind of an off taste. Even the miso soup. The edamame was okay. Kind of soggy and over cooked.
Like I said staff was amazing but the rolls? Not good.

Masa Sushi Japanese Cuisine in Gilbert was so good I didn’t even get a picture… and that says everything. Every bite was fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. The fish tasted clean and high quality, the rolls were generous without being overdone, and everything came out beautifully prepared.

I went here for the first time recently and I was excited to go but I think I ordered the wrong dishes. I didn’t love anything I ordered. The fried calamari was oily and chewy, the sauce that came with it was way too sweet for me and the baked sushi dish I got was also really sweet.
The service was good though. The place was clean and had a nice ambience. They have outside seating as well.
I want to go back and try something different to see what its like because they have a huge menu.
