I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. it’s perfect for a low-key date night or solo date. I came myself and sat at the bar. The lighting is dim and the playlist was at the perfect volume so people didn’t have to shout. I ordered the spicy paloma, and drink was high-quality and made it very smooth. Service was a bit fast on a christmas night, ans the staff was friendly. Note: It gets very crowded after 10 PM, so arrive early if you want a booth!

My husband & I came here for our anniversary after walking past it countless times on our way to Cavs games. We are big fans of Mexican food. We made reservations so when we came in we were instantly sat down. Our server was Liliana and she was such a sweetheart, very attentive as well. I started off with a mocktail that was delicious – “On the Wagon”. We had to obviously have chips & queso w/ salsa for an app. The queso was amazing, the green salsa was very unique and tasty, the regular red salsa lacked flavor. For our mains we got tacos – 3 orders to be specific. We couldn’t decide what flavor we wanted. They serve them as 3 tacos but you can only get 1 kind, so we opted for 3 orders so we could share them. Carne Asada (10 out of 10 amazing), Beef Barbacoa (my husbands favorite), and Grilled Shimp (good, but nothing spectacular). Each order came with a side so we decided to get 1 of each sides – Esquites (corn, absolutely delicious), Papas Fritas (my husband ate & said they were good), and Mexican Rice & Black Beans (very bland, no flavor, wouldn’t order again). We wanted to try dessert but after all this food we were absolutely stuffed. I would absolutely come back again, (especially for those carne asada tacos), but there’s a lot on the menu so I am interested in what else to try for next. Thanks Masa & Agave for giving us a great dinner for our 16th year anniversary.

I want to love Masa & Agave, but a couple things happened that make it difficult. The ambiance and decor was great. I loved the low light and the music being low enough to have normal conversations. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the carne asada, which was so perfectly seasoned and cooked. It came with a ton of sides and was overall impossible to eat. The churros for dessert were just divine! My issue came with the drinks. A friend and I at the table ordered mezcal margaritas. The first round of drinks came with them topped with soda water. Who puts soda water in a margarita? Our server tried defending the practice saying she does it too when she is bartending and needs to top off a drink. Well just make the actual drink the right size instead of taking a cheap way out. $14 for a drink is expensive for some soda water. The second round the same thing happened. After we complained yet again, we got new drinks which had only the ingredients listed on the menu. I highly recommend your bartenders learn how to make the drinks better, or at least forbid the use of soda water as a topper. Heck even ice would have been better and less recognizable.

Beautiful place, great food but the service was not it. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes and didn’t get greeted, no menu, no hi, NOTHING. Unfortunately, the customer service at the bar was extremely disappointing. The bartenders were rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome. There was a clear lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness, which really took away from the experience.
The only exception was Kelly, who was kind, respectful, and actually provided good service. She was the only bright spot in an otherwise very negative interaction.
I truly hope management addresses this, because the attitude behind the bar does not reflect the kind of experience customers should have.

We enjoyed both a breakfast and a dinner here. The breakfast. The atmosphere is very upbeat and comfortable. Breakfast was the All American and Mexican Benedict (highly recommended). Portions were ample and reasonably priced. Dinner and we could not pass up Tablones which is a nice take on a short rib. We shared a side of Papas Frites which were very nice. We would definitely recommend Masa and Agave.

This place has a really great overall vibe to it. The lighting, seating & art, gave it a very chill but elevated vibe! The service/staff were wonderful and attentive! you can tell they have a passion for the guest experience & delicious food! The food was phenomenal the guacamole was so fresh, the queso was unique & delicious, the carne asada tacos were tender, well-seasoned, and very flavorful! The dessert is a must! the tres leche was so moist and delicious and the churros were amazing! The drinks are the right amount of spicy & refreshing, some of my favorites in the city!

My daughter, husband and myself came in after a long day of coaching volleyball. Zac did an amazing job getting food and delicious drinks to us, even at the end of a busy day. It was so refreshing to end our busy day this way. We will be back.
