You guys are sleeping on this restaurant! Not only is it in the heart of soulard, an incredible section of the city to walk around and enjoy the nightlife but the food is incredible. I love chicken chimichanga, I have had many from multiple states. THIS WAS THE BEST CHICKEN CHIMICHANGA IVE EVER HAD!
The food was delicious, the service was delightful and a great time!

We had a great time at Mas Tequila. First time here – the bartender was helpful and the food was fantastic. If you like tequila they have a wide variety of options that aren’t as commercial. The art that adorns the restaurant is hand painted and adds such a unique touch. Great for photos! Amazing place

Visiting from out of town. Very good Mexican fare, like much better than the tourist-y feel will make you think. It is a solid 4, meaning it was above average food but will not shatter your world.
I had the Chimichanga with ground beef and it was very good albeit a little smaller than other places I’ve been. I think that’s one thing common to everything we had at the table, for the price the portions are a little shy. However, the taste was very good.
We had a bit of a wait on a slow Sunday afternoon as they trained a new chef so they comped us chips and salsa, which was nice of them. One of our party’s fajitas came a few minutes after the rest of our food. I had the house marg and it was really good, didn’t taste super strong, meaning it tasted smooth and sweet but still got me tipsy. Definitely get the margaritas!
We also had kids and they had kid tacos and they ate all of it. Our friend ordered more tacos as well, so again, this is a tasty joint and a great stop if you’re in town.

Great experience at Mas Tequila Cantina. The service was fantastic, the food tasted incredible, and the atmosphere is fun. What sets this place apart from other Mexican restaurants is the texture of the salsa, it’s almost as smooth as a sauce. It tastes terrific. The tacos I ordered were delicious and my friend enjoyed the carne asada. Will definitely come back!

Nice spot, appears to be a bar/club, like kids are not allowed, but it’s not true at all. We walked in asking if children are allowed and what was funny, maybe 30min into our visit, we overheard a family at the door saying Oh yeah it’s kid friendly (because they saw ours lol). Very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff. The food was amazing delicious. Their wings are on special Wednesday so it was great for our visit, very yummy wings! Really enjoyed my margarita too.

I am very appreciative of the vegetable section but they need to add some plant based protein, would make it so much better. The vegetable fajitas are yummy and the refried black beans are good. Ask for the habanero sauce, it’s got a little kick but sweet too.

After searching for a reasonable price for parking to visit the Arch. My wife and I found one just around the from this Mexican restaurant. So we decided to stop by and visit. And I’m glad we did. The atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable and very clean. Eventhough we were just being tourists as tourists do looking around and taking pictures and enjoying the surroundings The bartender just asked us once if we needed any help or service but we declined and answered that just we wanted to look around. After our curiosity was fed we wandered over to the bar where the bartender which very nice and friendly served us some very cold beer which was very refreshing and a guacamole dip that was out of this world with endless chips. The food was great and the service and staff wrapped up a perfect lunch break. This place is totally a comfort zone. You will definitely enjoy yourselves.

It’s on the more expensive side but not without reason. The atmosphere is small but warm like an unsuspecting hug. The food takes time but the chip bowls are large. The food looked small but was big in heart. I was satisfied. I should also note the tostadas stayed together with every bite, them and the margaritas were beautifully made. I would recommend and return, though not often.

Ate here on a whim when I was craving Mexican food! It was fantastic!! The guacamole and cheese dip were the best I have ever had. The enchiladas were amazing! I left stuffed! The waiter/bartender was so kind! We will definitely be back!
