Love the vibes. The drinks are delightful. The only negative is the mojito was easily the saddest mojito we have ever had. But we ordered something off brand so that’s on us.

Love LOVE the chicken Tinga

Veronica, Jenifer and Demon are amazing hosts! We visited Mos Por Favor on a random Monday and were treated to an excellent experience at the speakeasy. From the genuine welcome to the expertly prepared cocktails, this is definitely the place to be! If you dare order the Tickler, be brave and take a bite, you won’t regret it! Well, maybe you will, it may linger! We’ll be back for sure, perhaps for the Nightmare Before Christmas celebration and a Tuesday Taco night!

If you’re looking for some delicious tacos and other Mexican flair, this place is for you. There is a front area when you walk in from the sidewalk, but if you enter through the barn like door, there is a speak easy in the back. Very cool vibes and awesome food!

Eminem destroyed MGK as a rapper, but it was MGK that helped me discover the greatness that’s Mas Por Favor ( @masporfavorlv ). I came out for his pop-up shop, but ordered more of the regular menu in its place. My feast included…

No-Boo [Steak + Truffle + Parmesan + Artichoke + Soft Flour Tortilla], Thai Ko [Scallion Pancake + Crispy Steak + Sweet Chili + Cabbage + Cilantro], Mas Queso [Cheese Sauce + Pico + Pickled Onion + Pickled Jalapeño], Gobernador [Fried Shrimp + Monterey Cheese + Cabbage + Salsa Roja + Cheese Crusted Corn Tortilla], Spicy Truffle Salsa ( Absolutely Crazy Good! ), and MGK’s 27 Smash Burger [Prime Beef, American Cheese, Pickles, Romaine, And House-Made Burger Sauce On A Flipped Brioche].

The event burger and specialty cocktails were great, but those tacos took the crown for me in Vegas. OMG! FIRE! Also, no matter how skinny I get I’ll always order the queso. It complimented the stack perfectly. If it wasn’t for my fitness focused diet, I’d be there weekly. Trust me, it would be a great spot for a date too. If they don’t like tacos, or meat for that matter, swipe left. The battle for fridge space will kill you.

We ain’t got time for that!

Came here based on online recommendations and after browsing an appealing menu. Had high hopes.

The food was overall good (I can tell the kitchen is working hard), but the hospitality was so terrible in every step of the process, so I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

Waited a few minutes for someone to be present at the order stand, only to be told that they were working on something else and I was asked to scan the QR code. QR codes are fine if you’re at a table and have a server. Also, it wasn’t “thanks for your patience, please scan the QR code”. I was instantly presented with some unknown problem that wasn’t my problem (restaurant not busy), but it’s now on me to carry some unknown stressor and use the QR code menu.

I order my food, but I can’t order alcohol from the QR code menu. So I have to wait again for someone to take my alcohol order at the kiosk.

Tacos were properly sized and decently priced for street tacos. Elotes was cold and seemed like an afterthought. Tacos were solid. I ordered 4 and I’d say they were a 6.4/10. Double corn tortilla would help the breakage.

My second order placed for the $16 marg that was just cheap tequila and mixer…it was forgotten about so I had to go up to the counter again to wait for someone to talk to about it.

Overall, I just wanted to get out and move to somewhere else to redeem my night.

My friend and I were so excited to see The Nightmare Before Xmas popup. The decor was cute, and we tried several of the themed drinks but they were all very weak. We also had tacos: the no-boo had good flavor but the meat was a little dry, the fresh prince had a pepper in it that was kind of spicy (that was not clear on the menu), and the queenies choice was a disaster. It tasted good (from what we could tell) but it fell apart as soon as you picked it up, and there weren’t any forks or napkins provided. The service was the absolute worst. She was nowhere to be found which made it hard to order within the 2 hour limit. For a good portion of our evening we couldn’t find her at all. When we did order we had to repeat the order several times. Not sure if she’s new or not, but it was bad.

At this time of year they have an area themed as the Nightmare Before Christmas and as fans of the movie I think they’ve done a good job. But let’s get to the food, honestly some of the best carnitas and al pastor Tacos I’ve ever had. Their pineapple habanero sauce is so good, specially with Al Pastor. The Chicken Tinga had just enough heat to make it an awesome taco. The only negative I could find is the parking which is out of their hands.

The atmosphere is the best thing about this place! You enter through a side door down a hallway which makes it mysterious. Then you enter into a dim lit cozy place, roses on the wall and a great spot for private events. The waitress was really attentive and kind. The drinks are yummy especially the blue basil one. The tacos are not too bad pretty good flavor just rather small. I’d come back for sure

I love their speakeasy and the happy hour menu there! The Margarita’s are delicious and strong for the price, and I was able to ask for Tajin on the rim. My new favorite cocktail here is “Smoke & Berries”, mainly because it’s made with Mezcal. We also ordered chips and guacamole which were made fresh and delicious! The music is always great and bartenders are welcoming and quick.

This is one of my favorite speakeasy away from the strip. The decor resembles an underground tunnel ending with a crypt. The bar is decorated with skulls, candles on the walls and a rose-filled wall, perfect for pictures. They have a dj once a week and special prices on taco Tuesday. The drinks are good and creative. Overall a great place to visit in Chinatown.
