Portions are large and well worth the cost. Food is delicious, I had the Fuego Molcajete, wife had the elote and the flautas. Both looked and tasted great. It wasn’t too busy, but the decor and ambiance was nice. Music playing, just enough to provide nice atmosphere. Server was attentive and friendly. Manager even came to check in as well.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be coming again.
All in all we were happy with the experience. W dined outside on their covered patio. I would recommend it if the weather permits.
Sadly the service was lacking. Waitress got drink order wrong and she did not apologize or acknowledge it.
She came and asked us if we were ready for check because it looked like we didn’t need any boxes. A bit rude. I asked for desert menu and she was very Flippin when reciting the choices.
We were a small party of 3 she looked at us and asked if we wanted to split the check?
Not sure if she was having a bad day but it for sure affected our dinner space.
Food was tasty and the waiter Abel who came to help was awesome he knew about customer service.
They did give a discount on drink and soups. Which was nice an appreciated.
We will come again to try dessert.
They have a separate brunch menu on Sunday’s and the prices are good, so that was cool. I sat at the bar and they had the football playoff game on, which was cool too. I started with guacamole and added the grilled pineapple in it. First time trying and it was oh so good. Highly recommend! As for the main course – off the brunch menu I got the chicken enchiladas with rice and pinto beans. Hard choice since I was tempted by the juevos rancheros on the brunch menu, maybe next time. All was delicious. Check out the pics.
The burrito was best and worth it. It was very good is what I am trying to say. So good in fact that I ate it up.
They also have a habanero salsa that you can ask for which is pretty good and spicy.
Ok
Bye
for the kitchen and managers- the rice needs more salt, the birria is disgustingly dry; like eating dry rubber. al pastor could use more marinating time and better sweetness. the carne asada was just a tad bit dry but not horrible compared to the birria. i even drenched my tacos in lime to get it less dry. the rice is fantastic. some tweaks are needed in the menu and consistency but i am not turned off by this restaurant. they have a lot of potential if they keep it up.
