TLDR: Meant to try a few places in Benson last night, but didnt go anywhere else after this discovery.
Theres too much to do in Benson and we wanted to try a few places last night. NGL, $3 Margs caught my attention, but once inside I never had one of them. The margarita list Laura has currated was awesome, and she even played with the flavors a bit as we talked and discovered some new ones.
We payed the tab and were getting ready to leave, but decided to stay and try the tacos. I really wished we had tried them earlier. Luckily for us, Yolanda was in the kitchen and she did not disappoint! It would be nice if you could order a “flight” of tacos but reading over the menu and discussing the various attributes is part of the fun, We ended up trying them all, and it was worth it.
In the end, we didn’t hit any if the other places. We didn’t need to, and can do that some other time.

Not gonna lie. This place is my number one top spot so far. Every dish I’ve tried has been nothing short of delicious. Beyond the culinary delights, the distinctive artwork on the walls truly gives out a throw back feeling. At least for me it does! Thank you for the great service!

We stress tested this place with my big ass family in this tiny spot. They were so welcoming and put up with our huge group. The food was better than expected, though I had heard great things before arriving. I had the steak chilaquilas and my girlfriend had steak fajitas. Based on the price, we’re we’re expecting much smaller portions and were thrilled. Great experience, all around.

I almost passed on this dish. The tuna almost scared me away. I decided to venture out anyway. The excitement of this dish was more then anticipated. The flavor and heat balanced perfectly as it propelled me across the world to distant ports. A journey of flavor so rich that I had to order a fresh made tortilla to hang onto the experience for a few more delectable bites.
With Sarah as a quide this was truly a memorable experience. She knows her way around the menu and the bar. A talented guide that if you are daring enough to give her the chance, will leave you wanting to revisit this experience this escape week after week.

My wife and I are new to Omaha so we have been exploring different restaurants. Decided to make our way to the Benson area and stumbled on this place. What a great find! This place was unique and the food was really good!
The restaurant was pretty warm, so not sure if the AC was broken. Honestly, I didn’t care that it was warm, I came for the food which was awesome!
We started with the Valentina Bites, which were so good I could have just eaten that! My wife had a Burrito, man or man was it massive! I had the tacos, which I forgot to take a picture of. Those tacos we pretty good as well! I think I am really captured by the appetizer thought! The combination of fried plantains, sautéed plantains, and lightly breaded chicken in some honey Valentina sauce. It was awesome!
We will be back!!

I never post reviews for food. That’s not me. However I do hope the owners see this. I was there last Friday with a group of friends. I order a drink and a water. The server never brought it. She only brought it until someone else mentioned I was waiting for my drinks. Food took forever but when it did come it was good. Missing some items including a side of rice I ordered. Maybe she forgot to put it in because when I brought it up again she’s like I’ll get it and never did. I’m not sure what’s going on with this place but to have 1 server and 1 cook on a Friday especially Benson first Friday is mind blowing. The cook kept ringing the bell but the server was overwhelmed with the customers and making drinks. But also why is each taco coming in on separate plates? My friend ordered his food and it was just piling up to be collected. When we got the bill I asked to make sure the items we did not receive were not on the ticket. I cannot confirm because I didn’t pay the bill. I used to serve at restaurants and the only time there was 1 server was maybe during the week and 2-3 servers on the weekends. I hope management sees this and realizes they need two servers on Friday/Saturday. I will also be posting this on yelp.
