You would never expect to find such an authentic Italian sub and pizza shop in rural Betterton but Marzellas would stand out in any city, even those with a large Italian population. Was in town for work and grabbed a superb Pepper and Egg sub for lunch, which by the way wasn’t even on the menu!! Staff are wonderful and a pleasure to have met. Will take some friends back to share this gem with soon.

There just aren’t enough words or space to tell you how much we love this place! Thee best pizza on the Eastern shore! You step inside, the smells are wonderful, Justin takes your order and puts all his expertise and love in his craft! You sit and wait, salivating, the fresh, hot most delicious pizza is in front of you. Best ingredients, none of the yucky stuff, no way! You think you can’t get a Philly cheesesteak here? Don’t rate a book by it’s cover. When we went, only one person was working, plus it’s nothing spectacular looking, but the hoagies were phenomenal. If you’re in the Betterton area, I would highly recommend this place for a hoagie.

My husband and I went to the beach in betterton for the day, we stopped by for a bite to eat and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The turkey sub was delicious and packed with meat, I couldn’t finish it,packed it to go, rolls were fresh as well. My husband got the cheeseburger, he said it really good! It was huge and on a kaiser roll. The owner and her son were very nice as well. We will be back to try more for sure!
