I have to point that the tostillas are made here and fresh. The special are delicious, plus with a great price. Normally 2 breakfast tacos and you add cy ingredient would be around 12 to 15bucks. Here 3 tacos (big ones) and a drink came to 15 dollars and i couldn’t finish the 3rd one because I was full.
I have to also mentiones that is the 1st restaurant that have authentic mexican music and not Bad bunny/ regueton.

I love Mary’s Tacos. Full stop. Great food at an affordable price. And the service is always friendly. You can’t go wrong. Everything on the menus is amazing. First fell in love with Mary’s on East Blanco Road in Boerne. Tried the Helotes location for the first time. All delicious.

Tortillas are made fresh daily, and you can actually watch the production — such a cool touch! I love the open-view kitchen, and the place itself is very clean with plenty of seating. The staff is super friendly, and they even have a drive-thru.
I tried the carne guisada taco, and it was so good. They really stuff their tacos. Easily twice the size of most tacos, so the portions are excellent.
Their salsa tastes very similar to Las Palapas’ red salsa, which I personally love. If that’s your vibe, this place is a solid five out of five.

The food here is very good. I’m not necessarily a fan of their barbacoa, but its not bad. Everything else has been excellent. The service is always friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. They serve mostly tacos, hence the name. I would definitely recommend.

HOMEMADE TORTILLAS!!! Breakfast is awesome. Barbacoa is delicious, country sausage and egg and huevos Ranchero is absolutely delicious. I look forward to eating breakfast here every time I go. Highly recommend trying. I’m sure it will be your go to breakfast spot after you try it.

The original in Kerrville will always be my favorite, but this place is amazing as well. My favorite is the picadillo w/ cheese. Also recommend bacon egg and cheese w/ the red salsa on it. They are fast with your order, and all the tables were taken so just a heads up if you see an open one when you walk in take it.

Marys Tacos is a cute restaurant with a drive thru in Helotes. This was my first time trying it out. I was surprised by the menu because I expected just the normal bean and cheese, potato and egg etc. But on the menu they had both basic tacos and then the fancy tacos
We had the Monterrey which Machacado meat in Salsa Ranchera with Potatoes, Beans and Cilantro served on a homemade flour tortilla. I especially loved the tortilla and had good flavor. Only complaint was that it was a tiny bit over salted but not inedible and still tasty. I also has the carne asada taco adding beans and cheese. This was my favorite taco today. My husband enjoyed his taco the Silent Sean which had egg, Potato, Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese served on homemade flour tortilla.
The red salsa was mild but lots of flavor. Staff was polite, restaurant was clean with nice ambiance and the tortillas were the best from restaurant so far. I will be going back to try other plates on their menu.

While the Sean specialty breakfast taco had nice flavor & was a fat taco the downside was the flour tortilla. They look really good because they are being handmade in the restaurant, but something was off with the recipe. The tortillas kept tearing & ripping while we tried to eat. At first we thought it was only the Sean taco, but unfortunately, all of our flour tortilla tacos did the same. They were a little on the dry almost crumbly side but tore instead of crumbling. The restaurant is spacious & there’s small spaces on the sides of the main dining area with tables for a more private dining experience.
