Great German Food!!!! Loved the German Nachos. The waitress was extremely helpful with questions about food allergies. Definitely want to go back. They do need a larger beer mug though, 32 oz just doesn’t cut it, lol!!!

Our first time on Mother’s Day and every dish was delicious. Fish was so fresh. The potato sauerkraut soup was amazing! Glompkis were delicious and the chicken dumplings were also very good. My husband said his burger was the best he had ever! Not exaggerating — shocked he said that bc we are persnickety!! They gave us a complimentary chocolate mousse for the occasion and the German chocolate cake was good too. We loved everything about this place!

Had a craving for some nice warm pretzels and beer cheese so I went here, based on a friend’s recommendation. No one was behind the bar (where I choose to sit so I wouldn’t take up a table for just one person). After a while a waitress who looked rushed walked past and asked me if I needed a menu. I told her I wanted a Petoskey blueberry crush beer and some warm pretzels and beer cheese. She got the beer right away. About 15 or 20 minutes later I got the pretzels and cheese. The pretzels weren’t warm when I bit into them and the cheese was lukewarm at best. Very disappointing. I wondered if that’s how they serve them … or how long they sat before being brought to me? I was there at 1:30; not during a busy lunch or dinner time. Suggest they serve them warm …. or try to have more staff, if that’s why they weren’t delivered warm.

Food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was also awesome! Atmosphere was great although it would be better if they would play a German song once or twice an hour, just for atmosphere.

Random find, absolutely adorable place. Great food, and the staff were lovely. All kinds of beer and wine choices. Definitely worth a stop in.

Now I lived in Germany for 15 years and find that this is the closest to having German food I have found in the states.

The potato sausage soup, schnitzel sandwich, and sweet and sour cabbage were all delicious. Shout-out to the soup though. I would be happy with just a few servings of that! Prices are a bit steep to frequent.

Everything was very tasty and service was good. I asked for extra sauce and got it! Very cool interior and decorations. Was a bit pricey but the portions were huge, so worth it.

Excellent quality food and plenty of it. The jagerschnitzel is out of this world. Enjoying it from the sidewalk seating with a cold draft brought with a friendly smile–its hard to ask for more. Love this place.

Truly amazing food! We came on a Saturday about 2 pm. There was no wait, but still most tables were full. There was one server, but it was fast and staff was friendly. Will definitely be coming back everytime we visit up north.
