As a girl from the south I have to say this place is pretty spot on to that southern hospitality you all hear about. Firstly it’s a very welcoming place. My hubby and I both got the brisket plate and the portions alone are worth the stop. The brisket is amazing and so tender. My husband fell in love with the Mac and cheese so much so he went back for seconds and if that don’t tell ya something then you clearly don’t know my husband, but I digress.. point is if you want a delicious true southern smoked meats and amazing sides make ur way down to Mary’s smokehouse!!!!

Chicken was dry. Corn muffins were like sawdust. Portion sizes for price are not good. Toasted cheese was almost inedible and greasy. On the plus side the beans were delicious but very small portion for price.

Pulled up and almost left (building is old). Glad I didn’t. I lived in Texas for almost 10 years….best brisket I’ve had since I left Texas. Wife really enjoyed the chicken. We got some Brunswick stew to take home!

Incredible takeout tonight! The pulled pork was sweet and tender, the ribs fell off the bone, the chicken breasts were juicy and the stew was outrageous. I could drink the sauce! 10/10 would recommend the food and the owner was so pleasant as well. THANK YOU!
