The biscuits and gravy came out in 2 minutes. The full order is HUGE, and taste wise, they are top 3 I’ve ever eaten. I consider myself a biscuits and gravy connoisseur.

Do not get coffee, tea, or water here! They don’t filter it, so it’s absolutely nasty! We don’t like soda, but we were forced to drink it as the only other option. Every restaurant should invest in a filtration system if they’re going to use tap water for making beverages. The food and service were pretty good though, even if the restaurant is laid out in a bizarre fashion. You kind of feel like you’re walking into a hallway when you first walk in, and the dividers between booths are so low you feel like you’re eating with the people in the booth next to you.

This is in a motel, it smells horrible outside and you have to park in front of motel rooms that people live in and have personal ring cameras that announce they are recording you. We got this older waitress who kept touching us and slurred her words. They’re out of a lot of items including grits and gravy. Our order took forever and then came out wrong. My husbands burger came out with maybe 7 fries. The other reviews that state of you’re not a regular you get crap service is right. Honestly the waitress was the worst part, at one point we joked she was actively ignoring us, she would say she would be right with us and then sit down at another table full of people and talk. Just awful.

8/10/22 11:00am We got seating right away, Karen greeted us and was very friendly and informative. Sam was our waitress and the service was OUTSTANDING!!! Onion rings are best you will find in central Florida, the reubens were very good and burger also excellent, we all enjoyed all our food and had a great visit! Would give it 6 stars if i could! DON’T LET THE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU! Its not fancy but where it counts they can’t be beat!

Mary’s Place is just you’re good down home cooking! Located in the heart of Belleview in a quaint little Motel with a No-Frills Ambiance in this restaurant the food says it all. We had breakfast consisting of pecan Belgian waffles, country grits, amazing Homestyle biscuits and gravy along with eggs sausage and hash browns. Servers were very attentive always right there filling your coffee and making sure you are enjoying your meal. The menu also consisted of many home cooked country food options and specials you don’t find anywhere else. It was our first time there but they were very busy and you could tell they had a lot of loyal local customers. Open for breakfast and lunch up to 2 p.m. it may have been our first time there but it will definitely not be our last. You should definitely try you won’t be disappointed! Update Memorial Day Weekend 2018 we have now been going to Mary’s Place almost every weekend since my first review. We always sit in Courtney section and she is nothing less than fantastic! We have tried many different items on the menu and have never been disappointed! This to me is amazing because I can be real critical when it comes to food. Unfortunately they are only open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. otherwise we would probably grab dinner there a couple nights a week. Their prices, quality and quantity of food, and all around welcoming attitude and service is refreshing. Thought I would give this a little update it is now October 11th and unfortunately my health has taken a disastrous turn for the worst but I was scrolling through my pictures and wanted to post some of the ones I forgot to. We still get take out but miss being there in person but hopefully we will be there soon seeing everybody’s smiling faces!

The old adage don’t judge a book by its cover is quite fitting. This little restraunt did nothing but please today. Was looking for a good Steak and egg breakfast brought me in and was very pleased. Steak was cooked too order eggs soft and fluffy. Everything was fresh with abundant servings, well priced, friendly staff. I simply cannot say enough as to how pleased I was. I will be making this a frequent stop.
