Trying this new breakfast spot turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. Everything we ordered was fresh and satisfying, and it was the perfect way to start the day. The patio seating made the experience even better, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I left feeling happy and completely satisfied.

Today’s breakfast included 2 coffees, eggs, bacon, fruit, toast, & a chorizo burrito with hash browns! Wifey opted for the fruit cup in place of hash browns. My burrito was delightful & came with a lil cup of green salsa. Axel the elf was our server & he was attentive & kind throughout our stay, checking in with us regularly.
Tis the holiday season, so several staff members were dressed in Christmasy attire. We also noticed the decor & wondered what the restaurant’s typical decorations look like.
I personally felt some items were overpriced, but I’ve read other reviews that claim you get a lot of food per meal. $21 for an omelette seems a bit steep though. Other than this, I’m happy to return to support a small local business.

I loved the staff at Mary’s Morning Mixup. Welcoming, friendly, they believe in customer service. It is very bright a colorfully decorated. I didn’t love the food. I liked it. I did love the little donut holes but not fond of the container they come in…. Not exactly sure how clean it was. I actually need the tables, dishes, silverware to be a bit cleaner. Overall it is worth checking out.

The La Grange – Brookfield area is about mid way for my cousin and I to meet up. Lately we’ve tried some new places in the area and this month was Mary’s Morning Mix-up.
The place is cute, this egg hater loved the egg ceiling art (I don’t know to better describe it). She ordered a salad and I got the strawberry banana crepes with a side of hash browns with cheddar. We were both pleased with our meals and service was attentive. We were seated right next to the bakery case, so we got to see the lovely loaves they had. My cousin ended up going home with some carrot cake roll slices and a round of the sourdough.
The menu has something for everyone and there’s a nice patio for warmer weather. I can definitely see us going back.

Great place for friendly service AND good food. Got a breakfast recommendation to Mary’s from a nurse and she was on point. Had an egg and sausage plate for one of us, and sloppy Joe sandwich for the other. Sandwiches come with soup AND choice of fries, potato salad or coleslaw. I got the cream of potato soup and it was delicious AND a generous portion. Don’t get it twisted, get yourself to Mary’s Morning Mixup!
Edited to add: The cinnamon sugar homemade donut starter was so tasty. Ate it too quickly to snap a pic!

This restaurant was very welcoming! We walked in about 8am, not very busy. We were seated right away and within minutes we had a hot cup of coffee and a carafe of water. The food came out rather quickly. The food was eggceptional! And on the way out we picked up some pastries sold at the front. Overall 10/10.

My Mother and I decided to try this place for breakfast. The parking is convenient, there is an outside seating for nice weather eating, and the decor is wacky and fun. The staff was friendly and attentive. We received two donuts for being first customers. The menu has many choices and lots of options for different eating types. I had the Veggie burrito and my mother had he one egg breakfast with pancakes. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt the prices are pretty high for a basic breakfast. Overall, it has good food at higher cost with a wacky decor. I can see coming here from time to time for a special occasion but not for just a general breakfast.
