The McFarland location is extremely slow, often getting orders wrong, and skimping on portion size. You get a tiny little sandwich with hardly any filling for $10. Got my bread wrong, forgot the lettuce. I had the chicken salad sandwich. Meh at best. Came with a cookie or chips. Not worth $10

Telling my friends in WI this is worth coming down for. Mary’s Market is always a favorite place in Rockford. I don’t always get to stop. Surprised by tiramisu now available. Never had it here. It was delish. Big enough to share.

Ordered spinach quiche. It was fine till I got to the middle. Cold! They replaced with an even colder one. It was actually frozen in the middle. Will NEVER come back.

I don’t know if it’s just this location but the breakfast is terrible. Ordered a cheese and green pepper omelet which came out cold with 4 slices of unmelted cheese and a quarter cup of uncooked green peppers. They told me there were out of hash browns and replaced them with cold and undercooked “American potatoes”. A special gift of burnt bacon was included with my potatoes which was a nice surprise since I don’t eat meat. Also should mention the pile of cold un toasted bread that came on the plate. I was too hungry to complain so I ate some of the cold eggs. To be fair, I didn’t give them a chance to fix it because I was ready to erase the memory of this place from my mind. Self serve coffee was tasty, so that’s the 1 star.

Have catered multiple family gathering events with Mary’s Market and have loved it. Little expensive but ya get what ya pay for and doesnt break the bank if you split the bill with the group. Always food for our army of folks and multiple sides. Highly recommend. Also has a Beautiful in person restaurant altho I’ve not eaten there personally I’ve been inside to pickup and if the food quality is anything like our catering experience defs worth the visit also.

We stopped in for breakfast and were very happy with the food quality and service. I’m not a frequent diner at Mary’s Market, so it took a little bit for me to understand the ordering, utensils, and beverages, but staff was more than willing to help when they were available.

Excellent food. Breakfast sandwich made with freshly baked bread. The corn tortillas in the breakfast tacos were incredible. The wait was long (it was a Sunday), but certainly worth it.

Yesterday a friend and I went for a small treat. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this location. I was very disappointed. There was hardly anywhere to sit because so many tables were dirty. Staff took our order, they were somewhat friendly but, I kind of felt it was a bother to wait on us. I would have understood if they were understaffed but that was not the case. They were standing around and talking. I did hear one person say something about they needed to work as a team. They clearly were not and even watched one employee shake her head no about working as a team and make comments. Very disappointed in this, I will go elsewhere from now on. This is unfortunate, I have always loved going to Mary’s Market.
