Super cute atmosphere! The Food was fantastic! Their baked goods we re beautiful. I had an everything bagel sandwich, it was super fresh. The normal coffee and the lattes were delicious as well.

This Cafe & Bakery has to be one of the Best places to start your day off!
I happen to be in town training for work…and one of my fellow trainees had talked this place up so much. He had shown up with a cold brew coffee a few mornings and even raved about their Avocado Toast.
So I told him I would treat him to breakfast if he was able to bring me breakfast some morning from here.
Let me tell you… Wow, Absolutely Amazing!!!
The very acceptable prices, the Amazing quality and freshness of the food served here is beyond hard to find. I would Absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! So Fresh!!

This place has ruined my order one too many times the people they have working there absolutely need to find new jobs every time I get my food. It’s almost served as if it was thrown into the togo bag/ box, half of those workers don’t read what’s on the receipt when making the food. That place is a bunch of teenagers running that little restaurant. This is how it looked also when I ask for a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich they gave me those baby bagels mind you my order was $40 for this …. Do better

After leaving our car at the dealership for an oil change we decided to stop by Mary’s Market to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. I truly was not expecting our breakfast to be this delicious! I ordered the avocado power skillet and my bf ordered the Southwestern Omelette, these were SO good! I was expecting our breakfast to be drenched in oil and butter just like the typical American breakfast joint. I couldn’t be more wrong. It was all egg whites, and minimal oil to nothing. Even the crepe was almost oil free. Our food was made from scratch, fresh and tasty.
They also have an area where they have a variety of toppings, from ketchup to Cholula.
The atmosphere was so bright and calm, we enjoyed our breakfast so much, sitting by the big windows with all the natural light and soft music in the background.
Overall I highly recommend Mary’s Market to anyone looking for a delicious yet healthy breakfast. We will be back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the delicious food here! The market skillet is so tasty and the eggs are always cooked perfectly. The honey chipotle chicken tacos are fabulous as well. They have really good flavor and the avocados are always ripe. The sweet potato fries are nice and crispy and flavorful too.

They have a few decent vegan options. That’s why I chose this place. Today I tried the Chickpea Power Burger. I got it minus the tzatziki sauce and added mustard to make it vegan. It’s a soft patty like a black bean patty. I would definitely get it again.

Normally when I receive unsatisfactory service, I write the company direct to help them educate their employees on what went wrong. However, today was one that I cannot just leave here. We went to lunch on McFarland Road and ordered at 12:11 pm 2 soups and water. Your establishment was busy, and Taylor was at the register doing a fine job. We sat and waited for our order, and after 35 minutes, when others who had come in 15-18 minutes after us were getting their food, my wife walked up to the counter to ask if our order was ready. She was met by a girl who stated with a snarky tone that “We are really busy and I can’t do anything”. My wife asked again if it would be much longer and handed her our ticket, and she responded, ” I told you we are extremely busy and it will come”. My wife asked her what her name was, and she replied with an attitude, Marlin. This is not good customer service, even though you are busy. Courtesy would have been to reply, ” I will check, or I will get an answer for you”. Our food eventually arrived as we were getting up to request a refund. At 12:45, a full 34 minutes later, it arrived for just 2 soups. I retired as a firefighter in Rockford, and in all my 27 years of connecting with the citizens and people we swore to protect, never did I put my problems on their shoulders. I hope that “Marlin” receives remediation, at minimum a reprimand, and is reminded that the customer is who pays the bills and refers others to your establishment. On a side note, my Beef Chili was tepid at best, and we had to ask for our potato chips after receiving our food.

I was visiting the Rockford area and stopped in at Mary’s Market Cafe & Bakery unplanned. I bought a vegan raspberry bar, thinking it looked pretty good. Turned out the raspberry bar was delicious! I subsequently decided to stop in for a light dinner the next two evenings. My create-your-own sandwiches were delicious, with fresh bread, and very generous portions of tuna! The triple berry salad was also very good, with fresh greens, berries, and a delicious poppyseed dressing! The corn and black bean salad was also a win! As far as desserts, the chocolate chunk cookie I tried was decent, as was the pumpkin pie square (though it was far too rich due to the frosting). The vegan raspberry square was definitely the winner among the desserts (I treated myself to another). As far as coffee, I only tried the decaf. But, it was excellent! The atmosphere here is quite nice, as far as coffee houses go. And there’s plenty of seating. Even though one orders at the counter, like fast food, the staff clean off the dishes and waste from the tables. I imagine this might be why there were some negative reviews. If it’s busy, it might be difficult to get to clearing all the tables in a timely fashion. Perhaps adding dish bins near the garbage cans would be a good idea? If customers cleared their own plates, then the staff would only need to wipe down tables, which could be a time saver. Speaking of the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. As far as prices, I thought a few items may have been a bit overpriced. But, it was mostly a good value, especially the Market Sampler deal. Thumbs-up to Mary’s Market Cafe & Bakery!

Stopped here for breakfast yesterday morning and the whole experience was awful. There was only one person working and we had to stand in line forever. The employee forgot part of our order and the coffee was disgusting. We went somewhere else and purchased coffee afterwards. They need to do better if they want to stay in business. This is not the first time of having a bad experience at this location. Our mistake for thinking things would be better this time. We will not be back.
