My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat after 9pm that wasn’t a chain. We happened upon Mary’s and are so glad we did! The bartender was so friendly and accommodating, the prices were reasonable, and the food was incredible! It felt like dinner with an old friend instead of just some random employee at a bar – Kristen was the best!
We ordered the breaded pickles, wings, and a burger. The kitchen was out of pickles but Kristen recommended the mozz sticks so we had those instead. Everything was truly phenomenal! The wings were perfect, the burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the fries were killer – if you’re looking for a good meal at a local spot, this is the one for you!

Disrespectful before I even got to sit down. Incompetent guy greeted us with an attitude and the inability to comprehend how long ago 21 years is. Immediately had a rude remark to follow his false comprehension. Parking lot was empty on a Saturday night and it will continue to be that way if you treat people like that. Just wanted to shoot pool and have a drink, We will never be back.

The bartender was very friendly and very attentive. There weren’t too many people there. I also went early around 4. It’s usually a pretty packed place when I drive by later on in the day. The bar is definitely dated, and the bar itself is pretty small, but it looks nice. It was a great spot to stop in if you’re looking for chicken wings. The house sauce on the wings was amazing! Try them out!

Decent crowd, drinks, and location. The lady at the bar is most gracious and an excellent cook. Bless her ! Years ago, had fun karaoke with a dear friend. As an example: She saw me get a standing ovation of Dr. Hook’s song, ‘Sexy Eyes,’ from 1980, which the patrons hadn’t heard before. On a somber note, was graciously invited to a gathering following my very sadly, above mentioned, long-time girlfriends’ funeral by her brother. There you have it: Mary’s is for all occasions. Life goes on for all the right reasons. Celebrate here.

An old-school neighborhood divey bar near the intersection of Castle Creek Rd and Front St. The place has been around since the 1940s when it was opened by a former Alabama and Detroit Lions football player. It has karaoke, shuffle board, and a pool table. I like the art deco glass facade and patio.

Found this place late on a Thursday night on a trip through. Great burgers and fries! A total surprise! We sat at the bar, had a beer and dinner and the small crowd was surprisingly friendly and chatty! Ended up being a great place because we were looking for this type of place and experience. For the bartender who wanted me to name a song (and I couldn’t think of a thing…): Mustang Sally!

This is one of my favorite bars in the area. For chicken wings it is delectable and very good. The owners are friendly and that was fair is nice the Karaoke is also a lot of fun and Ashley Rounds really does a great job singing and should definitely be a professional star come see her and karaoke night and you’ll see what I mean
