First time here. The chicken was moist and delicious. I enjoyed the crisp coating. The staff was very nice and I received my order in under 2 minutes. The dining area was spotless. I would definitely go back.

I’m honestly not sure where the 4.5 rating comes from. Today was our first and last visit. The space was small—no way to wash your hands. The girl taking our order didn’t pay attention. She forgot my drink. I ended up sharing with my husband.
We placed our order, and five families and several takeouts came in after us, and all received their food before us. The girl said it was because the corndog takes 12 minutes to make. Our wait was far longer than twelve minutes, but whatever.
Additionally, the food has zero flavor! I was shocked by the lack of any seasoning. Not to mention the sides are small!! It costs $15.00, but you don’t get much in portion size. My family also got 3 apple pie pockets that I thought were the best-tasting of everything, but they were doughy. So there’s that. I’ll mention too that there is a fee for using a credit card. A fee for refills, and a fee for sauces that you will definitely want to help choke down that chicken. Honestly, Church’s chicken is far superior. Spend your money on something you will enjoy. It was a waste of 55.00. The quality of food and the price don’t match.
We ordered 1 -3-piece chicken and a toddler-sized side. (it’s the size of a baby food jar) Drink not included. For 15.99

So let’s start with the cleanliness and the Excellent customer service. This apparently is a staple chicken chicken spot in the historic plant city area. Tried the food there, the chicken wings and some fries.Everything lacked flavor. Have your dips cups ready.

Exactly like the old-time “broasted” chicken I’ve been searching for years.
It’s a small roadside diner so don’t expect a waiter but the place is clean and super friendly.
Took me back to my childhood and I will be back as often as I can.
Fyi- the gizzards are not fried in the same manner as all the other chicken but still just as delicious.

I got here about 6:30pm right before closing time. The food was gr8!!! Fresh, hot and flavorful! I will definitely be paying them another visit. Hadn’t been there for a long time, and had been having cravings for the place for a minute. Glad that I took the time to swing thru, it was definitely worth the trip! It’s some good eating!

To keep the peace ….please post a sign for no speaker phones for calls or watching videos or music. This is the third consecutive time I have had to move because the person next to me after I had already sat down decided to watch and listen to their phone. Common courtesy people use headphones. It is the responsibility of the establishment to set the rules so aggravated patrons don’t get into an argument. Let’s do better

Years ago when I came here, the chicken was probably the best fried chicken I’ve had in my life. I don’t know if they changed the meat or the ingredients but it taste tasted like they fried this chicken in catfish grease. It was no seasoning to it. The french fries didn’t have any salt on them at all. Bring back the old Maryland fried chicken I miss them I even brought my wife here for the first time

This is THE BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had! I drove from Oldsmar just to try it yesterday during the lunch hour. I had the two piece dark. It was cooked fresh and hot, and OMG, the fried outside of that chicken makes my mouth water just thinking about it now. The ladies that helped me were also very kind and friendly.
