Our first time here, we ordered 2 fish dinners and 1 – 2 pc white/dark chicken dinner to go. Dinners all came in a box with fries, hush puppies, tater tots, coleslaw, and the meats. Condiments and cutlery. The fish dinners were absolutely disgusting. Not worth the price. Thin fillets. Over cooked. Just gross to the point neither of us ate them. To the trash they went. The french fries not cooked long enough. The hush puppies were burnt and dry. The menu is not descriptive with what is included in your meal( ie- drink or sides). While standing and waiting we asked for a drink- the young girl said we don’t need to buy one because we ordered dinners. We only received 2 drinks for 3 dinners. The chicken was 1 wing- 1 thigh. The wing was burnt. The thigh was tolerable at best. It was just not a great experience for us. We will not be returning. If over fried and not so great tasting food is your thing then you should try it. If not- stay away. You can get a better tasting/quality fish from

Why does my photo show only Chicken bones? Because this chicken is so good that you’re tempted to even eat the bones! There is a Maryland Fried Chicken in Conway, Myrtle Beach, and Florence, SC and there used to be one in Loris, SC. They cook in vegetable oil so they must use a special seasoning in the batter. This chicken is ALWAYS juicy and tender and absolutely delicious! That said, their stores are very dated and quite honestly, worn out. But, they are not nasty so I’m quite comfortable eating there. Their chicken is outstanding! 02/28/26 Gosg….I love this chicken!!!

I love stopping at Marylands when I am in conway today, I stopped by and got my normal 5 piece tender
dinner box. The tenders were 3 times smaller than what they normally are and completely dry. It was absolutely Terrible. I have attached pictures of the meal I received today and then the meal I got in January. A big difference in the look and definitely the taste. ***tried to call, the Cole slaw has a very odd taste, could be sour.

Use to be good not today. Shrimp was ok but asked for fresh crispy fish and 2x they gave use greasy trash not fit to eat. Left with out eating a waste of $29.00. Cashier not very nice and I could hear kitchen lady yelling at her too. Omg not good customer service at all. Will not be back.

As a child some 50+/- years ago when we visited from out of town mom and Dad would bring me to eat at this location. Even as a kid I remember I loved this place! Fantastic food back in the 1970’s when I was about 6-7 years old and Fantastic food now with me at almost 60!
My travels take me to Conway a few times a year and I make a point to always grab lunch at this Conway location! I will not eat lunch any place else when in Conway! Its that good!
The chicken is always hot and tender, priced right and the mashed potatoes and gravy are great and the coleslaw is truly the best I have ever had in my life!
The staff are always fast and efficient and always so very nice!
I love being able to eat lunch in the same place the last 50 years and I love the food and the people.

Ordered two fish dinners and a two piece chicken dinner. Threw the fish dinners away after trying bites of it. Nothing good old grease and fish as thin as paper really. Hush puppies dried and burnt, fries undercooked and soggy. Not a great experience. Won’t be going back! The chicken at food Lion is better than MFC. Order total 38 bucks.

I’m so sorry, but I have to leave this review. They really need a proper dress code, ensure employees understand cleanliness, and just a little bit more friendliness. I went there today for the first time in years and the person who took my order was a mess. From the rotten teeth to the washed out uniform or shirt. This is a food establishment. To see somebody with such rotten teeth like that was disgusting. She also had the nerve that had a slight attitude. Her cleaning level also was not the best. She looked dirty and the uniform looked washed out. She may not have been that clean or up to part on levels of cleanliness because this woman also wanted me to put my debit card in a cup that she expected me to drink out of. I understand everybody’s not rich, but this is a food establishment. Cleanliness and outward appearance means a lot. Honestly, I did not eat my food. Too nervous to do so.
Also, my shrimp taste incredibly funny. They look great but they had a weird taste as if they had been left in the freezer for a while or maybe they set something on top of them and the shrimp got that taste to it. Please do better.

I will say the prices are really fair for this place and cheaper than your chain fried chicken places. The chicken was good but slightly over cooked imo. I like the bread more than the biscuits you get at other places. The fries was ok but they give you alot in the family meal! Cashier was super friendly. Overall, would recommend and will stop by again.
