The lox bagel is great! Lots of room for dining in, but the few staff working a weekend morning seemed very overwhelmed. They are kosher, and had a good variety of bagel flavors.

Food is okay… not quite blocks but it does the trick. The service though. Holy smokes. I came when they first opened and figured they just needed to figure it all out. But judging on all the other reviews, it’s a problem. You feel like you are interrupting these two to order. Then they like can’t work and talk at the same time… they will stop cutting a bagel to finish their conversation. I swear to all things holy I thought I was being pranked. Four bagels with cream cheese took about 15 minutes. With no one else in the store. At one point she just disappeared while making my order. I’m still just in disbelief over the whole ordeal. Hopefully it gets better but man. What an experience. THEN. This long brown hair came with the cream cheese bagel. No one in my house has long hair, and this was about 12 inches long. WEAR HAIRNETS!!!

I grew up on Block’s Bagles so I was skeptical at first. But I love the atmosphere, and the warm clean feel of Marx. Everyone is very polite, and the Bagles are delicious. I will certainly be back.

Walked in and was greeted by all staff with smiles! Seen him wash his hands before preparing my bagel I ordered the Lox With Smoked Salmon and Capers red onion and lettuce on a garlic bun. Wish I got a better picture. It was delicious

NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY! They claim they used Blocks recipes, NO, THEY DO NOT, TERRIBLE BAGEL!. It was our first and last time here. After spending a few minutes talking with the guy and saying multiple times the cream cheese we wanted, he still messed it up and put the wrong one on.
They are VERY stingy with the toppings. All of our favorite menu items are gone. The flavor or the bagels are totally different than Blocksn they are liars about that!
The everything bagel is a total joke!, look at the picture!!!
Blocks is gone and this place is NO substitute. Dave’s Bread Bagels from the store are better!
We will never be back.

Great find. Establishment was open very punctually, which was great because I was waiting outside for 10 minutes before opening due to my tight timeline. Staff greeted me as I walked in and were very kind when taking my order and payment. The establishment appears dated, but very clean. I ordered the everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese, which was delicious. One thing I always worry about is not getting enough cream cheese, but that was definitely not the case here at Block’s. I’ll be in the area a couple more times over the next year and plan on returning. Definitely recommend.

This was about an hour or 2 before they closed. But this was awful. Out of the 6 customers there, 4 had to wait over 20 minutes for their bagel order. 3 of them were just wrong and the female employees looked like they didn’t care or even wanted to make the order right. The guy was by himself trying to appease everyone, give him 5 stars, he was friendly and apologized for the inconvenience but I didn’t see him until we waited over 30 minutes for our order. Once he found out the issues we were having he addressed them, but the 2 female employees who just didn’t care that we didn’t get our food, or that the order was wrong, it will be hard to confidently go in here and expect to leave satisfied

Went there for the first time since they opened a year ago. There were only three people working during what should’ve been the breakfast rush time but, it was empty! The two girls at the counter didn’t seem to have clue on what was going on and the guy in the back was doing absolutely nothing but pushing dirt around and sneezing on the bagels in the back. It took over 20mins to get my order of a bagel and scrambled eggs. Which, at some point my food was taken to some unknown area out of view for about 10mins and then brought it out to sit some more on the prep counter. So needless to say I didn’t eat that and I was able to observe more than enough to know I’ll never go back. It’s unfortunate.

I wanted to love it, but it was extremely slow with no one else in line. The scrambled egg was burnt. The bagel wasn’t toasted, but blackened. Just not a great first impression.
It’s also 28° out, and it’s just as cold in the store. Your employees shouldn’t be working without heat.

Block’s Bagels slaps. The strawberry cream cheese and apple cinnamon bagels are the BEST. Since there are no preservatives, you do have to eat the bread items more quickly than store bought ones. The pizza bagels are awesome, too.
