Had the sweet beef with rice and a ramen. Both were amazing. I was going to eat there as they have a fantastic dining area. But took it home last minute and they had a handy station to bag up your bowls. Great place for dinner or lunch and conveniently in the center of downtown.

Marugame Udon plays a major part in LA Downtown revitalization. It is affordable restaurant with a superb udon you can’t find even in little Tokyo. After Tsurumaru udon in little Tokyo got shut down all colors in LA got greyer and wether got colder. But thanks to the new Marugame Udon I see the life in a full color .
