My family and I were invited to a private event for the soft opening. We were incredibly impressed with everything – the ambiance, the decor, and especially the food and service.
The ramen was fantastic – deep, rich umami flavor in the broth, and perfectly thin noodles. The chicken katsu curry was also phenomenal.
We were also lucky enough to sample five small plates, and the Wagyu skewers and pork buns were both standouts.
We were also eating with two young children, and the staff was so accommodating! They have great options for the Littles, including some fun surprises!
I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Well done on your grand opening! We arrived just before lunch ended and waited about 10 minutes for a table. I really appreciated that Marufuku sat everyone that was in line despite us arriving so close to their 2pm lunch closure. Staff was extremely attentive, friendly and informative. The menu is fantastic, we started with tonkotsu and found the regular portion delicious and filling. I really appreciated the amount of noodles in the tonkotsu. We finished with chicken karaage and wow! I have had a lot of chicken karaage here and in the homeland but this has probably been the best yet. I’m so happy to have access to Marufuku in my own backyard. Thanks again!

I had the privilege of attending a soft opening with my family of four and another family of five yesterday. The staff had such a great attitude and made accommodation so all of us can sit together as friends. As a frequent guest at the Marufuku Ramen in Oakland, the food is equally top notch here as well! Their menu is well curated, and you cannot go wrong with their Tonkatsu or chicken Ramen. It might very well be the best Ramen ever, taking the top 3 ramen flavors I’ve ever had! This particular location has a dried Ramen option with Wagyu beef, which is heavenly! There is some amazing drinks and delicious appetizers as well. I enjoyed their Wagyu skewers, takoyaki, and karaage fried chicken. Again, the service is phenomenal and the space is well designed. It is good for families given that the space is a bit more spacious and well lit compared to the Oakland one with more plentiful parking. This may now be my frequent spot for ramen and will be back soon!
