This little sushi bar is top notch. Very personable family-owned restaurant with beautiful aesthetics. Our waitress was so attentive and the food was extremely fresh and colorful. I loved the muscle shooters for both their taste and presentation! They made a special Korean sushi bowl for my mom, that was also just so beautiful. And the mochi ice cream was a perfect touch to finish off the meal.

Maru is always 5 stars! We love this little neighborhood spot and the food is incredible. So fresh, so full of flavor and so tasty The restaurant is clean, fast and the service is great. I usually just the hamachi sashimi which is incredibly fresh, but we like their rolls as well. The owner Yong and Jeannie are so nice and always attentive to their guests. Definitely my go to spot for some sushi in South Jordan! We’ll be back again and again, thank you

Food was excellent! Atmosphere is cozy! The miso soup and salad were on point and delicious. The dressing on the salad was superb! We ordered a Rainbow, Jenny, Crunch California, Alaska, Mt Fuji and a chefs special. All of them were super delicious and seemed fair for the price. The only thing holding back all 5 stars was the attentiveness of our server. We were the only ones in the restaurant and she was missing for a while when we needed water and to order. Would recommend for sure and our new spot to go!!

Delicious sushi, Japanese, and Korean food! I liked our meal. I’m taking away one star because our waitress only offered us water and never asked if we wanted to order drinks. She also refilled my husband’s water and not mine. She was attentive otherwise.

Family owned local spot. They are some of the nicest people I have met – the Husband and Wife of this location are in here everyday open to close. You can tell they care about their craft. The quality and service from them are exceptional. I lived in Japan and Korea for 4 years – and this place is as authentic as it gets!
The sushi is reasonably priced, and the menu options are varied enough so that my 70+ year old mother who is extremely picky about food was able to find something to enjoy!

This restaurant is fantastic from start to finish. It’s family-owned and operated, which really shows in the care and attention they put into everything. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the service is consistently warm and attentive.
Most importantly, the food is outstanding. My wife and I have visited twice, and we’ve loved everything we ordered. Over our two visits, we tried several rolls, Hoe-Deopbap, and Chirashi Don — each dish was excellent. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the sushi rice is perfectly seasoned with an ideal texture.
The rolls taste just as beautiful as they look. You can tell they prepare and plate each dish with genuine care and attention to detail. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive, which makes the experience even better.
I’m especially glad this sushi spot is conveniently located so I don’t have to travel far for such high-quality food.

What a great little sushi spot! We were seated quickly by a very friendly staff. There were a ton of menu options as well as beverages. You just have to ask for a beer/wine menu. We ordered 4 rolls total and they came out fast! Everything was very delicious and prices were reasonable. I’d highly recommend if you want a local, friendly, atmospheric sushi joint.

Truly can’t say enough about this restaurant. The service from everyone is so lovely from the moment you walk in. Always greeted by the sushi chefs, then sat cheerfully by a server. Our water is always replenished and the servers have great timing in checking in on us and bringing out food at the right pace. We usually have sashimi and a couple rolls. I am so impressed by how fresh and high quality their raw fish is. We are so grateful to have this delicious restaurant where quality and care is obviously top priority! You guys are the best.
