Have come here often throughout the years when I’m in the area. The broth for their ramen is quite aromatic and enjoy the portion size. Atmosphere is very serene and allows you to be fully present while eating. Eating here made me realize how distracting it is in some locations during your meal time- whether it be with music, promotional content, or televisions, and you can’t fully take in the experience of enjoying your meal. It is a nice reset to come here and share a meal with family or friends.
Highly reccomend coming here when you want some peace of mind alongside some delicious food that warms your spirit.
I forgot to take photos in the past, but their pork buns, maru ribs, vegetable tempura. and all their ramen is worth a try if you want to enjoy something refreshing

OMG!! The service was phenomenal! From the moment we walked through the door the staff was great! The food was a 10/10 across the board! It was hot and delicious! The only downside was they ran out of the chicken based broth.

Just had the most wonderful night here at Maru Ramen. One of the last places that knows what it means to be a good restaurant. Attentive staff, delicious food, incredible environment, and candies with your bill.

What an amazing experience! We tried the pork buns, chicken karaage, tonkotsu ramen, shoyo ramen, and yaki ramen – everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and this was more than enough for 2-3 people to share 🙂

This picture says more than I can ever put into words. I still remember the excitement before my first bite. And it stayed for the second bite. And the third. They are also SO hospitable. Lovely establishment.

We got the takoyaki which were hot and perfectly cooked. The ramen was flavorful without being to much and the katsu curry was rich and tasty.

Honestly, I have been coming here for over 5 years and I have to say, this is hands down the best Ramen spot in Richardson/Garland area. Their Katsu is always amazing. I have brought out of town friends and family and they always love this place. 10/10 will always recommend

Great atmosphere and service from everyone. The owner/manager even stopped by to ask how everything was.
The black tonkotsu broth was great. A few items were extra salty, and the pork unflavored, but I’d definitely return for a second time. Also, the noodles weren’t overcooked, just the right texture.

Black tonkotsu ramen is really good. The vegetable tempura is surprising consisting of pumpkin, sweet potato and okra. Nicely done nevertheless.

Came with my wife and two kids to grab a quick bite. We loved the food, even my son who can be a bit picky sometimes, cleared his plate. Food wasn’t very expensive and you can tell the owner had a lot of pride in his restaurant.
If I could add a suggestion: a changing table in one of the restrooms would be helpful for families with babies.
